Half Time penalty shot out thing

A good friend runs a local football team for 8 year olds as is keen to get them along for the half time penalty shoot out. I listened very carefully yesterday and the bloke on the microphone said if you are interested look on the Web site for details. I've looked all over and cannot see anything. Do...

Also saw the best half-time entertainment for years, thanks to the long-haired boy (after much debate we decided it was a boy) wearing the yellow keeper's top in the American style penalty shoot out. Things just didn't seem to be going well for him and, after every goal conceded, he turned and had ...

Old news - I remember it from ages ago. Probably actually said its something he would like to do and papers have twisted it.

Noticed that Curtis Osano was playing for Luton and I think was part of the 2006 squad.

Re: Ball over the stadium

Yes it did about four or five seasons ago. I can't remember the exact game but my daughter commented before the match "wouldn't it be funny, if someone kicked the ball so high it went out of the stadium." It went over the East stand. Occassionally she recalls the story with, do you remembe...

I used to do some IT work for Ladbrokes and they have a team whose role it is to come up with odds for this type of thing.

Don't forget Bundesliga doesn't play until mid Jan as its their winter break, so GS would have plenty of spare time on his hands.

Re: Players Spotted

Anyone know if a Reading player lives in Holder Close, Shinfield. A friend who lives nearby says that a Reading player lives along there but they don't know their name (he's not into football).

Re: Mills to Leicester 5 Million

DavidM62 This just confirms my view that Sven is a complete nob head who achived nothing with England or any or club/country that he has managed subsequently.

Sacked by Xmas.

Just thought I would feel a little smug about this prediction.

BIt of an update. Hotel have apologised and said the Front Desk was incorrect and the parking is complementary regardless of whether you buy a drink or not. I'm really pleasently suprised and fair play to them !

Re: Warning about "free" parking at the Reading Hilton

My point is that when I made my first enquiry had they said "for the time being", or mentioned the game before, we will be making changes I would say fair enough. It was only after parking on Saturday that I was aware. You can make you own minds up about what suits you, but at least you al...

Warning about "free" parking at the Reading Hilton

I saw the large display for free parking for Reading FC supporters and made enquiries at the start of the season. They said yes the parking was free and they hoped that people would use the bar before or after the game, but it wasn't a problem if you didn't. Arrived today and went up the reception j...

"The club's Community Trust coaches were also on hand to provide some top level coaching, though some youngsters found it tough to go through the drills in their willies!"
