Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Any chance we can get a new manager before completion? In consultation with the prospective owner? Ii think this will be a nailed on certainty with new owners. From Bowen`s statement yesterday it said we couldn`t pay fees, loan fees or compensation fees for the next three windows. begs the question...

Re: Ex Players

Found this on Amazon https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/410Mzq0R+ML.jpg Any memories of Rod out there? Thanks for that Sutekh, have ordered the book. Football memory-4 goals on a very wet day v Watford (?0 playing in midfield. Personal memory-He played I believe for Poole Town (like a lot of ex-pr...

Re: Tyrese Fornah

Was a bit of a weird one at the end of the Wigan game. Last player going round the South and East clapping the fans. Thumped his chest a few times around the badge. Not what I'd expect from a loanee in and out of the side after a disappointing draw with the bottom of the table side in the last home...

Re: Jamie Shackleton loan

This would be a great signing for us tbh. Hopefully, we can keep it quiet from Cardiff and Stoke. Other than Ian Harte have we ever signed any other players who have played for Leeds? Not usually a side we do business with. Think the following have turned out for both Reading and Leeds and various ...

Re: Changes to P&S rules

can anyone translate that - what is straight line? did see a bit of noise on twitter etc that Derby and Reading have been unlucky to get the deductions and this seemed to be Gibson and co looking after the 7 or so clubs who would be hit by a points deduction next year. But obvs thats twitter. I'm n...

bit shit that isn't it? Kind of doing their best to make sure they go down It is but the sale is dragging on, so I guess it is only right that they ensure they have enough money to get through to the end of the season as they will not want them to go bust in the season. Them staying up or not is no...

Re: Points Deduction Incoming!

Won't it just have protected us from falling foul of the limits again? I think my issue is what was the point in the embargo if we were just going to get a points deduction anyway? It's left us with a weaker squad than if they'd just deducted us the points. Maybe we'd be looking at a bigger deducti...

Re: Relegation

Let’s look at a worst case scenario. We go down(despite my personal and the general gloom yesterday;I put it at 50/50).The Dai s didn’t invest all that money;to get L1 football and so they pull the plug.We don’t own the ground,so get thrown out in a hissy fit on their part. Whatevers left of the Clu...

Re: Catering outside Stadium

Hendo Yeah not good. There is only going to be one way this will change and that is for the vast majority of people not buying food at the ground.

Quick Q - were West Berkshire Brewery still there? Hope so.

Yes, thankfully, a pint of Good Old Boy was just what I needed having seen the lineup.

Andy Johnson for me, whether he was playing for Everton, Qpr or Palace he always seemed to score a scrappy goal to ruin my afternoon, I was delighted when he retired.

Re: BFTG - Blackburn

If we stay up, we have got to sign Oliviera and get Miazga on a season loan. Wouldn't mind getting Martinez as well. Never going to happen. All 3 can do better than us financially and in terms of standard of football. Oliveira is out of contract and could get a move to a big club in Europe, Miazga ...

Apologies if already a thread but couldn't find it. Sims loan deal cancelled and now back at Southampton. Edwards contract cancelled by mutual consent and now on his way to Shrewsbury on a free, (so his £1,000,000 transfer fee we paid worked out at £336/minute on the pitch ignoring salary, c/w Pell...
