Re: New owners' top 5 priorities

4) Improve matchday experience Bring back programmes, involve local suppliers, get rid of Compass and their appalling food. Think of initiatives to make matchday more enjoyable and bring fans back. In addition to this point, I'd say basic stadium maintenance should be included in that list. Things ...

Re: Looking forward to the 2024-25 season

I'd hope to see Dai gone and a reasonable new owner who can steady the ship and ensure all bills are paid. I expect we'll lose a few players over the summer, hopefully for fees as the club starts to be run more sustainably and we can invest more money into wages and attracting good players on free a...

Re: Away followings

Cheltenham can definitely stay up after their win at Burton especially if we also go there and win. I quite enjoyed going there at Christmas time. So we had exactly 800 fans at Barnsley. 1700 going Saturday and maybe a few in the home end too. Shame some of the away ends are tinpot with small stands...

Re: Away followings

Looking at the top three, it would not be surprising if all of those are playing in the Championship next year so, depending on who comes down, we could well be even higher placed. I expect we'd put up a better showing than Rotherham. Sheff Wed and Brum would likely do better, but some of the other...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Barnsley (a)

Both were suspended for 12 months I believe so will have them hanging over the club until 2025. If either are triggered next season we've got bigger problems to worry about than that. So if there's a pitch invasion after promotion we could potentially have promotion rescinded, depending on points. ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Barnsley (a)

At least we're mathematically safe now. Let's end the season with another 4 points at least and finish comfortably above relegation in case the EFL turn on us again. Then it's about getting the takeover completed and we can budget for next season properly.

Re: Away followings

No confirmation on Bristol Rovers numbers but with 700 fans expected at Barnsley and 1700 at Burton, it's fair to assume we'll have averaged 1200 fans an away game. That's must be at least 30% more than last season which is a great effort. May have some new grounds in there and more local trips but ...

A very steady stream of tickets are still being sold - now around 660. That's more than they brought down to us Yeah, they took 569 to us and your comment is going to lead me down a rabbit hole of how many fans have we taken to teams compared to how many they brought to us. We usually take ar...

Around 550 sold now. Block NS3 has now opened, with NS2 being almost sold out (note the bottom section of the stand appears to be unavailable for purchase at this stage). Now estimating 623 sold. Good effort. 650-700 would be decent as Barnsley is a dull away day

Sutekh Won 4-2 the last time this fixture was the last away game of the season for Reading (back in 2017).

Stephen Bywater had fun banter with us that day despite letting 4 goals in

Re: Away followings

Almost 1300 of us at Bolton. 1,299 to be exact. £10 tickets helped but that's a good effort. Sums up a good season of away support from us. Very impressive numbers. I make it our seventh highest away following so far this season - behind Charlton (2,518); Portsmouth (1,987); Wycombe (1,849); Chelte...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Lincoln City (h)

NathStPaul Fear a heavy defeat in this one.

There's nothing to fear despite their unbeaten record. I think we'll get at least a draw. We're one of the best sides in the league at home and at Sincil Bank they really couldn't handle our press. They're due a loss as well.

RG30 Can't see this selling out in all honesty.

If we can take 1,300 to Bolton we can take 1,700 here. It's a big game too.

Train and tickets bought. IN. Bring on the inflatables
