Re: Park and ride

I use this service if i cant get a train down.

I find it quality. Would highly recommend it. RFC should be applauded for working with the council on this one. Great idea.

Re: The stewards are a joke

i know everyone has complained about stewards but they have certainly got stricter this year, at half time me and some mates went down the stairs and the steward pulled us all over into this room and gave us a lecture about persistent standing and that we were all on camera, so he told us if he see...

Re: RUMOUR - Andrew Surman

having seen Saints a few times, i have to say that "he's not all that and a bag of chips" Not strong in the tackle, not very quick, but he is mobile and can spot a pass Hasnt been in the U21's for quite a while. Possibly would look good in the FAPL where its less competitive and more cultu...

Re: Casual fans can't watch the royals because of club policy

apologies, it was rude of me to expect an immeditate response. And your reasons that you state are exactly what the club would argue, but in reality an account sat down when we got promoted with the idea to charge newcomers a tenner to be able to buy a ticket, and i seriously doubt that was so 'loy...

going back to the original crux of the argument, many of us will have grown up supporting Reading at Elm Park. I remember being so thrilled to see crowds over 10k when McGhee was there, and also reading the same derision about the Mad Stad and getting the crowds. Lower level football will NOT see us...

How much will we spend?

given that January isnt too far away, and given that our league position is respectable compared to just 6 weeks ago, how much money do you think Reading will spend in Jan? If our current form is maintained, all worries over the "r" word could be forgotten, making it easier to attract play...

expert on ssn, just said shorey "wants to leave" he knows an advisor for eggy and how does an advisor for eggy know Shorey wants to leave if the club haven't accepted the bid? Isn't that... illegal... yep could just be the "expert" making it up, he seemed to think deal was likel...

As much as I hate to say it, I can see Shorey leaving before tomorrow nights deadline. Bid has been declined, but it is only a matter of time before WHU or Newcastle (insert numerous other interested clubs) offer a sum that both the club and the Mad Man himself cant turn down. I believe around £8m...

IMO - that was the day RFC became a team everone "knew" about. Before then, we were just small fry.

Sat in the Olympic Gallery that day. Remember the seats moving up and down like a roller-coaster. Not convinced it was safe!

my mate is a Saints season ticket holder. They offer two options interest free over 6 months or 1.5% over 8 months are we being ripped off here?? Nope, RFC have just subbed the admin of sorting season tickets out to another company. So if anything Zebra are the one's offering the 8% interest...

to be fair, whilst my own view is that this is a lot of fuss over something very little, you can understand why those sat where they are may be a bit miffed! Could the club look to install the new Hospitality Seats in the new part of the East Stand, e.g. higher up? Would save anyone any issues i wou...

Re: East Stand Roof

During the further construction of the east stand is the roof coming off in the summer? I suspect it will and the club will announce the plans after we have all spent £545 on a ticket in the rain. The club seem to be doing things very underhand at the moment and I suspect that arrogant Howe, who d...

this is all conjecture anyway - we dont know whats going to happen until it happens. All we can do now is wait for RBC to either agree or decline the planning application for the expansion, and then see what (if any) government legislation comes into force re: Standing. Until we know that, there's n...
