Re: Predictions - Nottingham Forest (A)

Clarke will continue his quest to turn one of the best Championship players from last season into a bit part player. Vydra must be wondering what he has to do to get into what is turning into a pretty boring, ordinary team. Has Vydra not started every game he has been fit for?... and been fairly av...

Re: Who should start at cb at birmingham

Wison was guest for the Swansea game. Obviously I didn't hear much of what he said but in the little I did hear he made it clear he was an Arsenal fan and didn't have much to say about us beyond a few generic cliches about how unpredictable the league is. He then asked who he should submit his expe...

Basingstoke Royal I didn't notice this guy playing on Saturday.

There was a guy that came on second half that looked good.

floyd__streete Until the last few weeks we didn't even know who the majority shareholder was.

That's not true, there was an interview months ago where he said he was 50% shareholder

Re: Goalkeeper to Replace Federici

All keepers make mistakes, probably fewer than outfield players but of cause a keeper's mistake can result in a gift goal as Feds demonstrated on several occasions. Training ground is completely different to a real match just ask HRK who must show promise on the training ground to be selected but t...

Re: Goalkeeper to Replace Federici

Having watched some of his highlights and the training vids from Thailand I just want to make a little prediction about Bond. If he is 1st choice this season i think we will end up pretty happy with him but we will concede a few goals were he saves but can't hold a shot and it spills to opposition s...

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2014/15

Just noticed that Lasha Dvali lad out on loan played against Germany in a Euro's qualifier yesterday. Anyone know more on what the situation is with him? I remember seeing something about work permit issues but doesn't international appearances make that a smoother process?

The Rouge Every time the camera is on him his his mouth is open, you can see his small teeth and he is moaning at everyone from teammates to the officials. I wish he would shut his mouth as I am getting fed up of seeing Maynard's wine gums.

Re: Stephen Warnock - Rumoured

So Obita is staying then ? Long long long-term target of Harry Redknapp. He even tried talking him and his family out of letting him join Reading. He also showed an interest a year ago. We couldn't knock back a big bid if he came knocking again. Given the experiences of Jamie Ashdown and now Alex M...

Re: BFTG - Huddersfield

Huddersfield fans on twitter been moaning about us cheating. It was generally a niggly game. We were in the ref's face a lot, too often for my liking. A few times we held on to the ball after a decision, or kicked the ball away. Not sure it it was deliberate tactics or not. But Huddersfield were pl...

Re: Loan Watch 2013 - 2014

Even if he doesn't do well it wouldn't be a disaster but it would be great for the club for him to go there and walk into the side and stand out. It would be nice to see some real evidence of the quality of our U21 as so few have spent time away its kind of hard to judge whether we have an inflated ...

Re: Should we sign Murray permanently?

All depends on money, if it is 1 mil and we would still pass FFP then yes, anymore than that seems too big an expense for a guy with realistically no resale at his age

Re: BFTG - Watford (H)

This guy is either tripping on ACID or watched a different game. Yes defence looked better today but the MIDFIELD might have well not been there at all then to top that off the strikers missed chance after chance after chance, not just Murray but Blackman too, but what really wound me up was that i...

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2014/15

Attempted to watch the stream for this game but gave up when twitter said HT and I was still only 20 mins in after all the buffering. From the glimpses I got the team looked simply not as good as last year. Watson looked decent and did so last year as well. Sheppard didn't do much from what I saw, w...

Re: Steve Clarke

My expectations are also modest but lets be frank - the Adkins era has been such a disaster it's not going to take an awful lot for fans to start smiling again A disaster? A 7th place finish and some uninspiring football, I'd hardly call his reign a oxf*rd disaster. God help us if we actually got r...

Re: BFTG Norwich

Cooper looks a beast of a player. With him, Hector, Sweeney, Hyam and Dickie we have a very promising central defence for a long time if we can just get through breaking them in. Susprised Cox was dropped. Who played left right and hole/ second striker? Different formation from recent weeks: Mclear...
