Watching Reading Abroad

FAO All those Royals who are not based in the UK - How do you watch/listen to games? Do you watch live or just catch-up with highlights etc? I was using a VPN/Sky Go for games last year but that was a bit of a PITA at times so wondered what everyone else did? (Apologies if this has been asked multip...

Re: New Manager

Gomes 1/20 with Sky, think it'll be announced today . With a huge sigh we'll just have to see what happens, if we start winning he'll be ok , if not, he'll be gone by the end of the season. Always amazes me that these bizarre appointments are done without any consultation or thoughts of the lifeblo...

Re: *EXCUSE WATCH*

We need to get rid of Adkins! - yep, thankfully we did. But our PPG under Clarke is even worse. Wait until we get Williams, Mackie, Guthrie back - yeah they've all featured more regularly recently and - guess what - they've not been very inspiring either. Its all Anton's fault! - yeah and I am hard...

Re: The generic transfer thread

Not really a case of knowledge though, is it. Not knowing that Sheff Wed and Forest are bigger clubs than Reading is lack of knowledge. Getting all defensive about it is even more LOLworthy. It's more of an opinion than knowledge though isn't it :? , and what you judge bigger to mean? I would judge...

1-0 Reading. Dominate possession and get lucky with a late Guthrie deflected shot.

Re: League Cup R1 - Newport Predictions

£12 to see Newport county when I only paid £5 to see Swansea City. The pricing is ridiculous for this game. So I will stay at home and listen to the game on the radio. I'd rather go and watch a competitive match than a friendly... I guess you value a game on the standard of the opposition rather th...

Royal Ginger
And what, they just couldn't be bothered in pre-season?

Pre-season is about fitness - I think we played the way Nigel wanted and were unlucky not to win 2-0. Wigan got lucky with their goal so I am claiming a victory on this one.

Spid 2-0 Reading, Nigel's finally got the team required to play his sexy brand of football.

So we were just missing Cox were we?

The yoot we will bring in will be more adaptable to Nigel's way of playing.

Re: Reading fan hit by seat - thrown by Reading fan

I was sat a few rows back from the incident and saw the whole thing. Both brothers were seen tucking into chicken balti pies around 20 mins prior to kick off. around 10 minutes after kick off it became apparent there was a foul smell in the area that was the cause of much debate. The issue came to a...

FA charging Hazard, as they feel a "3 match ban is clearly not sufficient" i think 3 matches is more than enough ? is it just me that doesn't even think it was that bad :?: classic overreacting by most again, demanding action. surely the cringeworthy nature of the whole thing is enough of ...

Wages will prevent us getting any of those, we are skint, unless Anton's dad drops a few more millions into his Christmas stocking Really?
