Re: Gay Championship player about to go public....

I really, really hope this isn't a hoax. I don't think it is. And it will be a big step forward against the stigma that sadly remains attached to being gay in football.

Regarding identity, he says he is under 23, so it's not Gunter.

Re: The generic transfer thread

Surprise from France - Nabil Fekir was a £50m target for Liverpool last summer and even pictured by the club in their kit before the deal fell apart. Arsenal wanted him too but all that must have cooled, as he's gone to Real Betis for £19.7m. Which looks an absolute steal. He has no knees though wh...

Re: New Kits 2019/20

Enjoying this - have announced that they are also 'unsponsoring' Motherwell and Newport County, so that's three sponsor-less shirts at least, next season.

Re: The generic transfer thread

I wasn't being entirely serious. The foreogn players in that league seem to be had beens and never weres. Whilst Bale is past his peak, standard wise he could still do a fcuk it's lot better than China. Probably doing Chinese football a disservice, but I'm just imagining Bale playing there as being...

Re: The generic transfer thread

yeah there does seem to be a lot of rumours of him possibly going to China simply because he is flat out refusing to allow his wages to drop when he leaves RM I am surprised people who have earned so much take that stance and don't see their wealth as putting them in a strong position to move to an...

Re: New Kits 2019/20

Huddersfield launch their actual kit: https://www.htafc.com/news/2019/july/towns-real-home-kit-is-revealed/ Fair play in many ways to Paddy Power as they will not be taking up the shirt space with their logo so the shirts will be plain. The fake launch probably got them more exposure than they woul...

Has scottish football hit a new low? Welsh part timers connah quay nomads knock out Kilmarnock by winning away from home  The Welsh part-timers set up a second qualifying round tie with Partizan Belgrade after a stunning 2-0 win at Rugby Park overturned a 2-1 deficit. Six of the Nomads team, w...

Re: The generic transfer thread

Renen Higuita was mates with Pablo Escobar and went to prison for helping kidnap someone. On the other hand he once did a 'scorpion kick' and the balance of play seems to be in favour of the latter so we remember him fondly Sorry to be the ultimate party pooper, but the scorpion kick was great but ...

Also, keeper needs changing to that Brazillian lad who murdered his wife 'Bruno' Fernandes de Souza He was released after 7 years of his 22-year sentence and said What happened, happened. Re: The generic transfer thread

Another interesting part of his contract is that his buy out clause (which looks relatively low at £135m), doesn't come into effect for three years. Am sure Juventus will look to renegotiate that at some point. As an aside, Turin is a dive, albeit I'm sure the club will sort him out somewhere nice t...

Hendo Talk about wasters, he has got to be top of the list.

You should know you're doing it wrong when you sign your first professional terms at Manchester United, yet at 25 years old you are on your 9th club, and are only being offered a one-year deal.

Re: Next seasons kit choice?

Delay in receiving the kit, i.e. modelling it etc is because of a balls up behind the scenes. Otherwise we’d have seen the kit on Monday as was planned. Is there a balls up every year? Wouldn't surprise me tbf. We usually see the kit by second week of July and it tends to go on sale for the home fr...

Re: The generic transfer thread

Talking of youngsters, Liverpool apparently set to win the race to sign Fulham's 16 year old Harvey Elliott - he was at their 6-0 pre-season win at Tranmere last night, where Rhian Brewster scored twice on his first appearance for the 'senior' side. Elliott is 15 in this photo, the old looking chav....
