Re: World Cup 2026

Ireland are 2-0 up against Portugal at half-time. Would blow that group wide open going into the final round of fixtures if Ireland were to win. Ronny sent off when Ireland already 2 up. Result unlikely to change much though in a group that’ll see Portugal and Hungary qualify. Ireland have basicall...

Brogue
From Despair To Where? I think he's a good signing. We know what he's capable of and I think it's a signing that allows other players (Wing, Savage) to play in their more natural position.

assuming we have signed him to play in cm...

Ask Rotherham fans where LR played him when he was there.

When asked if he'd be next, Meite replied:

One day will be back for sure

Perhaps he’s just got a couple of tickets for the Rotherham game

Re: Weekend Football

I'd go with something like no opposition player within a yard of the keeper when the kick is taken. Subjective to a point, sure. But what it might mean to some extent is it becomes easier to penalise attacking teams for jostling or hindering a keeper's movement - because they have to move towards h...

Excellent news, great to have him back and should restore some decent midfield options.

Deal done. Rob and his assistant are now confirmed as the new Wolves management team until 2028 (or next summer).

Middlesbrough get £3m in compensation.

Re: MATCHWATCH : MK Dons (h)

Delboy They need to cancel this competition barely 1000 attended , other teams have had less than that . Glad we are out

Yep, nobody really cares about this stupid cup unless their team gets to a semi final and an overpriced day out at Wembley becomes an actual possibility.

Royals and Racers West Ham the only U 21 team left in the competition.
We are the only team on 6 points not to qualify.

Another record to covet.

Re: MATCHWATCH : MK Dons (h)

WestYorksRoyal When was the last time we were out of all the cups before December?

I think it was 1990/91 but in the last 30 years the closest we’ve come to being cupless by December is losing the final cup game on 8 December (York in 2001 FA Cup and Bournemouth in 1998 LDV)

Re: Injury watch 2025/26

Mr Sitter Anyone got any information at all about Burns and Jacob’s injuries assuming they are injured ?

Jacob has a knee injury.

Burns has the same injury as Fraser - an undefined knock likely to keep him out for an undefined period.

With Wigan being off; should everyone except Fraser be back for our next game? Obvs don’t know what the story is with Burns or Jacob but the u21 looks full strength now as well. Be an interesting selection for that game I think Marriott is out for most of November (on X), but there's been nothing o...

City the better team, Liverpool being stitched up by cr@p defending and Michael Oliver - so business as usual then.
