Re: Birmingham (A) Prediction Thread

One thing is sure we will not score, unless we sign Drogba or a proven goal scorer by Saturday. Last season we scored a grand total of 48 goals in 46 games, 8 (under Atkins) from Cox who will not get a game because Clarke doesn't rate him Murray scored 8 , no Murray type deal has been arranged this ...

Re: Aaron Tshibola

Thanks Poolsfan, for taking the trouble to send a great report about Aaron and congratulations on staying up. I thought you were dead and buried a few months ago. Hope Aaron can kick on and become a regular in the first team. Our club is like a rudderless ship, totally lacking direction. I am not su...

Re: BFTG - Cherries

Robson Kanu is rubbish in 90% of the games. In a big game he can be a world beater.
Quite a dilema for Clarke, I would tell him he is on for the first half , whether he stays on is up to him.
The guy has everything except a good attitude, he is a Big Game Charlie.

Would like Bradford Home or Away. Be great to see Parky.
Fear it will be Arsenal home or Away.

Re: Clear out

I have been saying this for ages, after a win or after a defeat. The squad is 3/4 crap far too much deadwood. Think we have just enough points to escape relegation , then a good clearout in the summer. Get players in who want to play for the club, not prima donnas just here for the money. Pog and Gu...

Stonewall 0-0 draw or 0-1. In 27 league games Sheff Wed has scored the great total of 21 goals and conceded only 23.

Re: Samuel to Coventry / Dominic Samuel Merged Threads

Good move for the player. No way was he going to be picked for the Royals. He is going into a team averaging a goal a game. So it is not going to be easy for him to make a mark,if he is arrogant and has an attitude problem maybe a real struggle in a poor team for a three month period could be the ma...

Hope this isn´t true, lots of injuries and obviously on the way down, scoring record over the past two years on a par with the Pog. No more deadwood please.

Re: Drenthe - Would you have him back???

Fantastic news , I just feel sorry for the fans of Kayseri Erciyesspor who are having to pay the no doubt high wage for this journeyman. He had talent but couldn´t handle life, in a word a nutter, a loose cannon. No manager including Mourinho,Moyes could get the best out of him. His going releases a...

Re: CONFIMRED - Glenn Murray on loan

Steve Clarke knows a lot more about football than I do, but if he thinks this squad is good enough to stay up , with our mercurial defence and shot shy forwards, he is not thinking straight or maintaining the party line. NO MONEY.

“It haunts me,” Hunt said. “I had a lot of years at Palace and Brentford before I even touched the limelight. No one in Ireland knew who I was. Re: Should we sign Murray permanently?

He´s too old. He doesn´t want to be at Reading. Unless we can get him for a million , it could lead to problems with finances. If we sell Drenthe, Pog,Guthrie, Akpan,Blackman and a few others in January ,then sign Murray. Try Cooper for the last 20 minutes as a forward, tiring defenders seeing him c...

Re: Reading and Liverpool - same problems

Forced changes. I'm sure that Atkins would love to have a fully fit squad to pick a team from. I wasn´t talking about forced changes through injury. I was talking about games like Brentford where he dropped Cox and Mackie who had been the stars in the previous game, There have been plenty of times w...

Re: Reading and Liverpool - same problems

Surely Rodgers biggest mistake has been not replacing Suarez and when it was obvious that Sturridge , is/was a sick note didn´t get a suitable replacement. Lambert is ok but he isn´t half a Suarez. The two Suarez and Sturridge scored over 50 goals between them, last season, who did Rodgers buy the I...
