Re: MATCHWATCH : Burton Albion (h)

Probably the funniest goal we've ever conceded btw Off the top of my head, Mannone booting a clearance into Moore was it? Something terrible like that Close. "Enjoy" from 1m30. First goal was a shocker as well - and our equaliser was hardly a classic https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dPPIxr...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Burton Albion (h)

There’s something I really dislike about Burton. Not really justified as they are a solid enough club. Think it goes back to Stam 1-2 game in front of a full house, just brings back awful memories Probably the funniest goal we've ever conceded btw Off the top of my head, Mannone booting a clearance...

Nope, can confirm I’m not the weird guy on Twitter pretending to be an ITK individual linked to the Thais.

Which is exactly what a weird guy from Twitter pretending to be an ITK individual linked to the Thais would say!

Confrimed

That’s one mystery solved then.

Hound Hmm something stirring?

SCL have just posted a video of Bearwood which seems a bit random and that Huang Kad chap is making some noise again

Huang Kad has basically revealed exactly what was posted on here earlier - that was from a new account to here so could be the same person.

Yep

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

It looks a very strong side against Brighton there. Definitely think a few of those plus Tuma have a good chance of stepping up

Re: Looking forward to the 2024-25 season

We will naturally lose a couple of the OOC players, as some will get tempting offers from a division above & we may need to fend off interest in Wing, Smith & Knibbs but, maybe naively, this squad seem to love working together, working for this manager and there is clearly a refound bond be...

Dai gone and the majority of this team to stay and keep progressing. And not so much rain

That’d do me for starters

East Grinstead Royal I thought the suspended points deductions related to pitch invasions and abandonments?

Yes there is that. Let’s not do that

Re: MATCHWATCH : Barnsley (a)

As said, Burton playing Cheltenham next so both can’t win all their games, so unless we get any deductions (which I believe the potential owners have taken care of) we’re safe

Well done Ruben and co. Lets finish the season strong

Re: MATCHWATCH : Barnsley (a)

The theme tune from Hitman and Her. What’s the connection? Weird choice - great programme though I have actually looked into it before. I was taken by surprise that they used it when I was up in the away end a few years ago, it was baffling. In short the answer is nobody knows why they use it, does...

NathStPaul Barnsley have the greatest walk out music ever. For that reason alone I am fearing a heavy defeat.

And what exactly is this "greatest walk out music ever"?

The theme tune from Hitman and Her.

Re: The 24/25 Season of Optimism Thread

Players are genuinely likeable this season for the first time for a while. Knibbs, Smith, wing etc all seem top professionals, work their backsides off etc. Younger players like Savage seem to really buy into fan interaction Last year it was difficult to shake the idea that a few of them really were...

Re: The 24/25 Season of Optimism Thread

We're all allowing ourselves to think several steps ahead with the takeover, myself included. We're still in a very dangerous situation. If it goes through it's definitely good news, but I hope the new guys are sensible. We have a team and set of footballing operations that are already doing fine, ...

Re: The 24/25 Season of Optimism Thread

Other than LW I don’t think we have any glaring weaknesses Not too sure what we’d do if one of the CBs got injured - maybe Dorsett there. Mola’s getting close to the standard of a regular LB so I’d be ok with not signing another one, esp with Carson, Ryan and Dorsett knocking about Goes without sayi...

Re: The 24/25 Season of Optimism Thread

Tbh bar that 2 points in 10 game run or whatever it was I’ve enjoyed this season on tbe pitch

I’d take much the same; add an extra 4 or 5 wins and no points deductions or panic sales and I think we’d be in quite a good place

Re: Squad Watch 2024/25

Key thing for me now is to give a few fringe players some.sub minutes and maybe a start, not too many at once, but we need to see who we want to contiñue to develop and who we can't rely on to step up next season.. So I want to see at least one 15 min plus sub appearance from the following: Carson ...
