Re: BF I follow Barnsley

I'm not convinced that Meite is very good technically at football. He doesn't have an outstanding touch, shooting can be streaky, and he doesn't link up amazingly with teammates. What he does do very well is showing up when we need him, and he absolutely cares an awful lot about doing well (for thi...

Re: We're ManchesteROFL United, we do what we want

Good start from Van de Beek though, debut goal off the bench, probably the only positive mind. Not quite sure how he doesn't start the game. Pogba must have missed a large chunk of training recently with his Covid issuss. I know Van De Beek is new to the squad but he was clearly fit and raring to g...

Franchise FC Has there been a change to the VAR rules and offside ?

How was that Arsenal goal not offside ?

Because Aubameyang wasn't offside. HTH.

That’ll teach me to watch on an iPad without my glasses

It was about as tight as it gets though. The West Ham defenders heel played him on.

Re: BF I follow Barnsley

Lower West Derby lost to Luton today. Gives last week a degree of perspective.

Let's ask the Football League to deduct the 3 points from our win against Derby because Luton beat them.....

Re: BF I follow Barnsley

It would irrelevant if this was the 46th game of the season. I'm not saying the ref was wrong with the reds but we really didn't look like winning 11 v 11. If the flag hadn't incorrectly gone up against Swift in the first few minutes, we would likely have been 1 up early and a different game. Barns...

Re: BF I follow Barnsley

After last week's excellent display that was a pretty dire performance. We were outplayed and outfought by a hard working but pretty average side who just escaped the drop last year. If they hadn't self destructed there is no way we would have won that game. Their high pressing game pushed us back ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Barnsley (h) sponsored by a trip down t'pit

Interesting. If we had the option of bringing Gunter or Osho back who would we go for ? The hugely experienced, reliable , specialist full back but probably expensive Gunter Or the inexperienced, non specialist fullback, probably more dynamic but a bit of a gamble, much cheaper Osho Choose Osho and...

Snowflake Royal
Zip Apparently Yids is out for a good while hence being linked with right backs.

Shame.

And no cup games left to try out Watson in his actual position.

He was tried in his position on loan for the past two seasons and performed terribly, he isn't very good.

Keep up.

If Gunter agreed to play for 25% of last seasons wage I'd have him back in a heartbeat.

Re: The generic transfer thread

BR0B0T Jota announced!

Very decent signing that. Improves their bench massively and they can rely on him in meaningless Champions League dead rubber group games when Mane or Salah need a rest.

What are United doing btw? What are they waiting for? So many players being missed out on.

Re: BF I follow Barnsley

Word on Barnsley. Thought they were excellent until the harsh red. Play the way I wish we would. But, didn't really have much goal threat... keep up that level of performance, tighten the discipline and add a goalscorer and they should have a pretty good season. You seem to be obsessed with how goo...
