Re: Euro 2020

Wales are such a poor and irrelevant side. I hope they somehow fluke their way to the Euros just so they can get a bloody good hiding. Shagger Giggs will get badly found out. Yeah but at least we can p*ss on top ranked teams like Belgium in major tournaments rather than go out to the likes of Icela...

Re: Weekend Football

Winston Biscuit Bolton, who have now won 3 in a row, play 19th placed Accrington next and 20th placed Wimbledon after that

Can see them getting out of it. MK Dons look to be well out of their depth and there is some real dross in and around them. Would be a great achievement.

Re: Weekend Football

How good are Wycombe? When do we actually start to believe what would be a miracle could become a reality? What a credit to the game they and Ainsworth are. It is a miracle they have got as high as they have in general footballing terms but not so much a miracle in how well they are doing now. Grea...

Re: The Manager Sack Race/Merry-go-Round

Sol Campbell making an absolute dog's dinner of the Southend job thus far. However it would take only a fool to write him off - I still think they will get out of it, possibly at the expense of Lincoln who really need to sort themselves out. I don't see them getting out of it John but I think the c...

Seen nothing from Loader to suggest he would be a big loss to us.

Re: England - the future....

Yeah I agree Newcastle might be a bit too low end for him. I think they only play the way they do because they lack someone like Foden though, they just don't have the players to play expansive, creative football.

Bournemouth is a good shout.

Re: Weekend Football

I will put this here because it happened at the weekend... I met Tony Pulis on Saturday - sat down with him for a couple of hours. He is a lovely bloke. Few interesting stories and where he is at now etc. The best thing - he was dressed like he shops at Sports Direct - including baseball cap. What ...

Re: England - the future....

Would like to see Foden have a short loan in January. Somewhere like Everton or Newcastle would be ideal, go and be the star of the show and play competitive football each week.

Re: Rival Watch

Says a lot about where Cardiff think they are. Seemingly no money and a huge rebuild. Harris has experience working on a tight budget and built a few competitive Millwall sides in his time there. Might be a sensible appointment. They should've gone for Gareth Ainsworth, in my opinion. Would have be...

Re: Weekend Football

. . Alright then it's that time we all live for: Friday afternoon and the dawn of some mouthwatering fixtures across the board. Who needs top flight football when you've got the likes of: Bolton v MK Dons Notts County v Barrow Bradford Park Avenue v Leamington Tonbridge Angels v St.Albans Bolton v ...

Re: Liam Moore Interview Part 2

Too early to judge Boye. It takes a while to adjust to this league and I am not sure he ahs ever been 100% fit. It's not even about his talent. We dont need him. Every position he covers is already covered. We need a CM if anything. We need wing options. No guarantee McCleary will stay fit and Meit...

Re: Liam Moore Interview Part 2

Nice read again. Interesting he mentions the number of strikers we have. Gonna be some disappointed players this season. I mean, we have already seen fans turn on Meite recently saying he should be sold . Also keeps the Loader question sharp in my mind. Hes not going to sign a new deal is he? Wasn'...

nothing particularly new, but this Baldock newspaper interview is quite interesting as well - different perspective on Gomes https://www.wokinghampaper.co.uk/interview-reading-striker-sam-baldock-on-struggles-with-jose-gomes-and-new-lease-of-life-under-mark-bowen/ Nice read again. Re: The Manager Sack Race/Merry-go-Round

Can't be an easy job to manage after what happened in the summer Similar to Cardiff and Warnock, I think the Sala incident had such an impact on Warnock and he's never truly recovered since then Completely ridiculous to compare the two situations, you've really lost it. OMA. Why do you have to be s...

Re: Rival Watch

I seem to remember there was a period of time where Westwood couldn't play because it would have meant them paying out a huge amount of money to his former club and it would trigger a new deal for the player too. Since the old manager left he has started playing again so I can only assume he has tak...

Re: Liam Moore Interview Part 2

It’s great to have access like this to the players, no sound bites or PR answers just honesty. Goes under the radar that the club have no people in the room, although I guess questions are pre cleared. Not many other clubs would allow this so fair play to Moore and Reading for allowing it. Always f...

Following their defeat to Maldon & Tiptree, Leyton Orient fire Carl Fletcher after just 29 days in charge. Can't be an easy job to manage after what happened in the summer Similar to Cardiff and Warnock, I think the Sala incident had such an impact on Warnock and he's never truly recovered sinc...
