Re: Football Stadia - Past, Present & Future

Saw this on the BBC website this morning and thought of this thread. So, here for your nostalgic pleasure is the link https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/extra/DqkhZA6FP7/around-the-92-in-the-1980s Almost brought a tear to my eye at the end. Brief mention of RFC too. Edit: hands up who also had that Luther...

Re: Play-Offs Thread 2018

I could actually go to the final if I wanted, if there are tickets available when it gets to my bracket... as I have a previous booking history with Fulham (sat in the home end for the 4-2 loss in 2015 and in the neutral end for the 5-0 loss last year)... that would be interesting. I have the offer...

Re: Blackpool - back from the game

Really enjoyed the game, and can't really say much else other than what people have already posted. I noticed the electronic advertising board was saying about shirt printing at the RFC Oracle store - but I thought that was shut? You say you haven't got much to add but the revelation that the RFC O...

ITFC_Keane The Bird in Hand in Henley-on-Thames

Where in Henley is that then?

I know the B-i-H at Knowl Hill, and there's one (maybe closed now) in Peppard.

I was unaware of a third Bird.

Greys Road, Henley.

One in Sonning Common has closed again.

Re: we've got three and a half sides now...

I'm very much in the "Aldershot are our only mutual rivals" camp. It's always annoyed me when they win (pretty sad, I know) and would actively follow their results to check that they do not get promoted/get into the play-offs. But there are limits to this petty dislike. I found to my surp...

LUX decent bloke, one of the very few reasons to like Chelsea. Now there's only Kes left.

Stunning level of ingratitude, even by Abramovich standards, after last years success.

How much money will they be bunging Pep Guardiola?

Re: Playing on the same side? The last taboo

I'm not entirely sure why this is being called as a spoof. It is possibly being called a spoof because Starfers has lit the blue touch paper and retreated with no further comment... And for the record, like pretty much everyone else who has responded, I couldn't care less about players personal liv...

As for the assistant *rsehole on the East Stand side - you are meant to look for offside when the ball is played you twat - not when you catch up with play! Can anyone who watched the game on TV confirm whether some of the offsides gives against us (Roberts mostly) were incorrect because ...

Re: Looking For Some Info

Warrington has never played outside of the top flight of Rugby League. For most of the years I watched us we flirted with relegation and were general under achievers. A local businessman, Simon Moran, bought us a few years back and has invested heavily in us. Simon Moran owns SJM Promotions who put...

Elmer Park I thought Carragher was OK but his voice counts against him.

He wrote a good piece in Tuesday's Telegraph about his views on the required culture change in the English game. He is worth persevering with but I agree about the voice!

The most important question on the thread still remains unanswered...

Starfish A German victory with the weather we're having in Bavaria at the moment = me in with a very good chance of picking up a drunk 23 year old and getting my brown wings 2012. Leaving the house now - pray for Starfish.
