Re: Safe standing end?

Why should standing be cheaper than sitting?

If standing is the premium product (e.g. better atmosphere) then surely it should be at a premium price shouldn't it?

Re: Ground share

Premier League rule K.7. Spectators admitted to a Stadium shall be offered only seated accommodation, the majority
of which shall be covered, and there shall be no standing terraces.

Not that means ground sharing at the Madejski though.

66DD Might be a sell out, but probably won't be full though. My daughter is putting her foot down that my grandson won't be going as it's a school night.

Daughter's seen the light and Grandson will be there in his normal place. I knew I brought her up to be a Royal.

royalexile The issue should be a non event. Doorman check your driving licence if you want to drink in town after a match.

Sorry to be a bit dense, but why do they do that?

Harpers So Solid Crew why does he go to bed at 7pm then?

If you mean - why, does he go to bed at 7pm then? Then the answer is, yes on school nights.

If you mean - why does he go to bed at 7pm then? Then the answer is, that is the time my daughter says he has to go to bed on school nights.

It's wrong to let school get in the way of a child's education.

I might try sneaking him out of his bed room window when she's distracted.

Bought three tickets on line on Tuesday for people who all had the requisite number of points, received the email confirmation, had my bank account charged and they are showing on my points record. Not yet received the tickets and the club haven't confirmed that they have voided the on line transact...

SLAMMED Don't you have to pay to be a STAR member?

They'll be using my hard earned money to buy more clappers :roll:

Not if the only activity allowed is organising coach travel.

Re: Clappers at the Forest and Palace games

I don't suppose there is anything we can do to stop this? Just seems like a massive waste of time and money. STAR are an embarrassment to the club. They should stick to organising coaches and nothing else. Maybe the East stand could participate in a mass protest by throwing them onto the pitch. If ...

weybridgewanderer if you are referring to the group on sky that were shown leaving 10minutes before the end, those were the Reading Buses drivers who always have to leave early and get back to their buses

How did Sky know what was in the bus drivers' sandwiches? Had there been some illegal hacking going on?

I've said it before and I still think it's valid. The priorty should be for those fans who are prepared to queue up at the ticket office to get their tickets. Anything else makes it too easy for plastics who are not prepared to sacrifice work and family committments to get tickets to jump the queue...

Can anyone explain the mentality of the idiots who were booing our players at the end? What on earth was that about? The team played well again and were unfortunate not to win.

ReadingFCDirect

I may be mistaken but I think that there may be a flaw or two in this:

Work telephone number as a mandatory field when registering;
Friends and family information has not been carried forward;
Royalty points record says that I have no points, even though the summary page says that I have 2700 odd.
