Re: Back from the game (FOREST)

Evening... Been a while since i was on here last, but living 10 minutes from the shitty ground meant i was always going to go along today. On the game... Griffin had 1 decent-ish moment. Thorvalsd... put him self about a fair bit, and looked up for it. Hopefully once he gets the hang of the team and...

A great character and excellent in previous seasons, some good performances this season but I don't think it's completely unwarranted to say he's sometimes been lacking. I can think of: Today (and could have been punished more than once) Boro (H): spilled free-kick for 2nd goal Liverpool (A): spill...

another reason for the times being slightly better disposed is the fact that there are a couple of reading supporters on the sports staff. A don't mind match of the day's coverage. I don;t normally bother with the analysis bit, i want to see goals and action. and then i generally pick up the rest of...

this is the game i have been looking forward to most this season. For 13 long years, until my head was swayed by a chance trip to tilehurst, there was only one team whose results i needed to know. I saw similar highs and lows as a toffee as i have as a royal, sat through both getting six put past th...

Do you think goalkeepers need more protection from referees? In a 50/50 situation do you think a striker has the right to go for the ball or should he always pull out of the challenge and jump over the keeper? look at the knee in the picture ... was he trying to kill Marcus! he wasn;t in a car, he ...

mydak Do you not feel that as a premiership footballer, you could afford a mechanic to work on your cars for you?

If it's his hobby, why should he employ one to do that?
heavy things cars, wouldn't want one falling on him and causing an injury.

Forbury Lion
A few years ago, David James has a training spell with a American Football team. Is this something goalkeepers may be able to adapt to and if so, would you ever consider it?

given he was a bit of a star "footballer" i think he might do.
