Re: Semi final tickets?

Check your bank account. I had the same thing but the money has come out of my credit card and I have 5 tickets in my purchase history.

Re: Murty out on loan......

I actually went to the match and thought Murts had a very good game. He looked very composed and stood out in a game between two average teams. The other player to note was Shelvey, a 16 year old midfielder for Charlton. He was my motm. I would have said he was far older than 16, by the way he looke...

Re: Season ticket application 08/09

Top notch service for me this morning. Got through to an agent in about 5 minutes and then able to move my season ticket and buy a new season ticket for the girlfriend at the same time. Not a problem.

If only every call centre was a good as that!

Re: Tommy Burns RIP

This puts our relegation into context. It's a sad day for football.

This year I decided that due to just finishing uni and not working full time yet I couldn't rely on my loan/savings to fund a year of watching Reading play everywhere. Last year was always going to be exciting, whether we finished 20th or anywhere higher, so I bought my AST to take every game in. T...

Stoke, Man City, Millwall, Cardiff all does mention in the early Madejski Stadium days. Hearing 4,000 Bristol Rovers fans in the MadStad sing "Goodnight Irene" was an unbelivable volume of noise. Norwich on the Easter Monday with "On the Ball City" sounded very loud for a fantas...

IIRC Doyle had the ball in his hands and Shorey walked up and took the ball off him. Shorey clearly felt confident before the pen so I have no problem with him taking it. I agree that we as fans think Kitson might be better but it's all about who can handle the pressure best when taking penalties. A...

One of my mates wore a Man Utd shirt into the Reading end for the cup game last season and got a beating for it. Now that's stupidity Nonsense, he deserved a good shoeing for his sheer stupidity. Sorry, I was saying that he was stupid for wearing it, not stupid fans for taking an exception to him.

As long as they don't use up seats for Reading fans then I have no problem. Made for a rubbish atmosphere though. It felt like there were more neutrals/Liverpool fans there than Royals! As the game wasn't sold out, or if it was it was only very late on, I don't see it as a problem unless they cause ...

If you look at the confirmation email.... ALL SEATS MARKED WITH A (*) WILL BE PLACED ON YOUR MEMBER CARD  I bought seven tickets using current member cards but strangely three have not got a * next to the name. Two of the unstarred have received tickets in the post, but I haven't received my ...

They've announced tickets will cost £34 for adults. We've been allocated 1,900 tickets.

I can see a lot of our fans not bothering, as it's without doubt the worst away end in the premiership, although it has been made infinitely better now that it has a roof, but with pillars in the way!

I don't think it's too bad a price.

Is there any mention of how many royalty points will be awarded?

The bus from town seemed to take longer than ever yesterday. We were in stop start traffic all the way from the top of rose kiln lane. We need to sort out the traffic issues before we get the stadium expansion otherwise it's only going to get worse!

2-0 to united.

I'd love to be optimistic and say we'll get something out of the game but i really can't see it happening.

I reckon we'll play well and give a good account of ourselves but lose to two moments of magic that we can't cope with, probably from Ronaldo.

I don't think you'll have any trouble in sitting where you want. Can't see too many Reading fans travelling up there for this one, by looking at the thread in 'meeting up'!!

For your info, HP was not full on Monday, but don't know whether this was because of not many people knowing about it reopening again (maybe full this weekend?) Depending on what direction you're going from, you could park south of the m'way somewhere and jog/walk to the ground. I've done it when tr...
