Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

I can only assume the people expecting a World cup final at the Maracana type atmosphere, at Reading vs Swansea, are new to football.

Re: Qatar Hero - The World Cup 2022 thread

The jury is still out but playing the WC in the middle of the domestic season actually seems to be helping us. We looked a lot more lively in that game than we have done at any tournament I can remember.

I can't really see it TBH. Not as noticeable as Fiorentina's 1992 away kit.

Re: Magic Number

Do people remember the required scenario for when we got relegated from the Prem with Sir Steve? We're down to the last few games and anything can happen. I still expect this to go down to the last game

Loafer I went when I was 7 on a regular basis, my first one off game was 4 years old, but I have taken my son to watch the local non league team and he loves it, but that is a lot different to be fair

Were you taken into the Southbank as a 4 year old??

Re: Dodgy agents, dodgy deals, the sorry tale continues

Converting money into physical asset yes. But I do think that the club is being milked by the likes of Joorabchian for personal gain at the expense of the club. The decision making at the top is wayward to say the least and we seemingly have no strategic direction. There is zero relationship with t...

Re: Pauno out

Paultheroyal What I do find incredible is that there has hardly been any leaks from within the club

I suspect thats because there's hardly anybody left at the club. From what I can gather the structure is basically Dai > Dai's henchman > Kia. And none of them are going to leak anything!

Re: Official RFC Clownovic Day. The protest thread

Sensible points and I totally support Dai overall, but I absolutely cannot agree with the conclusion of "let's just get behind the team". When I started the ""action ASAP" thread several weeks ago I only put the "get behind the team" option as a tongue in cheek ob...

Re: Official RFC Clownovic Day. The protest thread

I don't think its that deep. Can I suggest getting some beers in beforehand and then getting down there to join in the melee for a laugh. I want Pauno out which is why I'm going and I'd imagine why most will be going, I won't be joining in with any chants against the board but others no doubt will (...

Hound if players are just allowed to waltz past Laurent and Drinkwater then we are stuffed whoever we put out

Exactly this. Our defence is sh*t but the protection offered by the midfield is criminal

Re: Pauno out

Paunos quote regarding us playing quite well inbetween the 4 goals has been found by QPR fans on twitter and is doing the rounds. The man is so out of his depth I feel slightly sorry for the bloke but he has to be removed.

2 -I can't believe what I'm reading though, with some people STILL suggesting we shouldn't be calling for Pauno to be sacked. I mean... WTAF. Yes the problems are bigger and ideally we'd get a more interactive owner, we'd sort out the medical side, we'd go back in time and not gamble on finances, w...
