I went shopping instead - taxi to the 'Ding would have been cheaper
So is the general opinion that Tariq Royal is rich? Wish I hadn't rejected his FB requests

Re: Next seasons kit choice?

So.... if the HNA collective was buying an Al-Habsi shirt for its collective sister-in-law, what size shirt should HNA go for? She's a size 12 in women's clothes but the replica goalkeeper kit options are small, medium, large etc (or there's a junior extra large...)

If you search Google for Eamonn Dolan, the info panel about him has a picture of Brian McDermott *sigh*

Re: Your road to wembley

Stuka I shall begin my road to Wembley by walking to Euston and having a few drinks before hopping on the Metropolitan Line. It's more or less like a home game for me.

It *is* a home game for me - it's my nearest football ground. I'll be walking down to the Torch mid afternoon

112 - hopefully close enough to the pitch to see what's going on and not so close that I get bashed in the face when the ball comes flying past the goal

Oh no 2-0 up after 10 minutes, we all know what'll happen next. Archie will miss a penalty and it'll all end in tears

strap Oh well, what do I know?? I'm just a fan in my 45th year of following the club. SC obviously has a deeply disguised plan that is way above mere fans.

But it doesn't end 1871 anymore :(

Sometimes, when you need to buy tickets for all your brothers and nephews and people and move your own season ticket seat to be with them, a real person on a phone makes it all seem easy

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2013/14

I think these Reading boys look much more comfortable on the ball and passing it about than a number of the first team. +1 - this is so much better to watch! But maybe that's because I have slightly lower expectations... or maybe because I saw them all in the hotel this afternoon, so they all seem ...

Re: Charlton away

Is this game likely to be suitable to take a 13-year-old nephew to, who hasn't yet been fully persuaded that RFC is the club to support? (The last match we took him to was the very wet and uninspiring game against Wigan just before Christmas)

Have to defer to those who were there of course, but we sounded fairly good on the radio. I was there. Plenty of boos at full time. Most people left when the 2nd went in. Hmm, I was there too and don't think "most" people left after the second, although a few did. I also didn't notice any...
