Re: Oh, What A Lovely Defecit!

Expenses are still too high, we'll have a deficit every year until that isn't the case. Problem is that wage bill is proportional to how well you do in the league... so not having a high wage bill, because the players aren't worth the wages = relegation. Good post Zac - not sure why others find it ...

Re: Isn't there just a little bit of you that is happy ...

Very pleased for him. A real shame it didn't work out with us. Given time it would have done and the pleasure his playing style would have brought us all (well, most of us) would have been immense. He isn't everyone's cup of tea as he talks in circles and cliches but I think he's a genuinely nice g...

.. for Brendan Rodgers. http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2010/10/16/article-1321121-078F8E13000005DC-575_306x423.jpg It didn't work out for him in charge of Reading, and now he's done for Swansea what I think he really wanted to do for us at Reading. Good luck in the Premier League Brendan. http://t0....

Yes! You though he was going deaf on us didn't you. But here's what he thinks (On Five Live) Man City are very tired after so many games along with the trip to the Ukraine. But he fancies City to get to the final. I thought Reading would be beaten at Everton in the fifth round, but Royals boss Bria...

Re: Back from the Game - 'Boro

I don't think anyone had a bad game. Gunarsson's ball down the wing for our first was perfect. Think Manset should have come on for Long. Church just isn't good enough. Church gets too many chances. Williams deserves a chance from the bench. Church needs a season in L1 or just flog the dead horse. ...

Re: FA Cup cash boost

The Royals will be getting £247,500 just for being shown live on TV against Man City/Villa . . . plus £360,000 should they win! A replay would earn another TV fee. They also got prize money of £67,500 for winning third round, £90,000 for fourth round and £180,000 for beating Everton plus £123,750 f...

Re: Back From The Game - Chelsea RentBoys (H)

Much better all round. Is it a coincidence but the last time Ian Harte did not play we won and tonight he did not play and we won again. He might be good at set plays but the defence is so lacking in pace when he plays and he offers little threat going forwards apart from set pieces - and even thos...

Player of the season by a country mile but I'm guessing most mongs on here will vote for Shane Moderators! Checck this post for insulting term used to describe those who are less fortunate than ourselves. Mong is a contraction of the term mongol or mongoloid (now thankfully defunct) used to describ...

Class.
Now all we need is an attacking midfielder with the same authority and quality.
With that in place we're not far from half decent.

Half man half biscuit. That is the truth, there is something very similar to the god like Robin Hi Minty. I'm glad you agree, I swear half those who buzz on about Robin Friday have only read about him. They haven't seen him, and I guess you'll remember he wasn't always great, he was sometimes blood...

Re: DONE DEAL - Mathieu Manset

Did anyone actually see him play today. He came on for Church but he looked off the pace and not sure where he was supposed to be playing. He collided with Long at one time when he went for the same ball. On the plus side, didn't react angrily when he took a swipe to the face from Bradley Guzan late...

Re: RUMOUR - Mathieu Manset

Cannot see him even being on the bench tomorrow but it should give our strikers a kick up the backside so I expect to see a 100% effort tomorrow from all three of them. IF we sign him I think we have bought him to be very much involved in our first team straight away and I would expect him to be on...
