Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Of all the fake news and false information ever posted on this website, that has to go down as the most egregious You don't like SPAM, then? You must be young, not like the old fogies, like me, who remember eating it in the early post war years, when there was nothing better to be had, If there was...

Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

I've been in left side of the South Stand / Club 1871 from the start and enjoyed it from the begining although getting beat by Ipswich with about 50 people was a bit embarassing. It's good to see so many folk spending time moaning / critising knowing all their efforts will make no difference at all ...

Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

I admire the optimism of the collective critiquing of l'club1871 and the belief that a) there is some kind of strategic approach to song singing by football fans who have a couple of cheeky slurps and b) give a sh1t what anyone else thinks :P

Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

would you like to see it continue Urzzzz into next season? Not having a dig at all, as respect your points, but I do think its genuinely a positive. What do you reckon would make it better? Personally, I wouldn't, I would rather an atmosphere generated across the entire stadium rather than one sect...

Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

I have a season tkt in C1871 (and had one at EP). It was a bit awkward at first, but as I have said before it is SO MUCH better that sitting with the clappers in the East stand who just moan - i enjoy going to football now. The past few games have been brilliant, the football has helped, although I ...

Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

The club support the South Stand efforts and they organised the Heineken event to boost numbers. Nigel Howe thinks a positive atmosphere on game day is a good thing and as such is behind the Club1871 initiative.

Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

I wasn't going to post on here any more as I think there are a number of trolls & fisherman baiting fans. Having said if some of the views of people like CB, OMA are real we don't deserve any success. How people can find the negative in people trying to do something positive. It says more about ...

Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

All good points gents but you're confusing me with someone who gives 2 scooby's as to what you think. I'm out of this thread, I have my season ticket in the South Stand for this season and don't plan on changing and will take great pleasure whatever the result in the fact that it annoys you : ) I ma...

OMA and Kulshaw72RFC, could I politely suggest you get a breathaliser attached to your computer keyboard as I can only assume that due to the drivel you write you have been consuming vast quantities of alchohol prior to posting. Thank you for your interest in my safety today, I couldn't give a s**t ...

Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

You speak so much rubbish it's unbelievable. If there has been fans who have moved over from Y26 including myself and have enjoyed it in the South stand more than they have in Y26 then I would count that as a success. If attendance grows, South stand will grow. If we sing all game like we did again...

Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

Suspect if we were playing well an averaging 17,000+ then we would be on course for about 600 in there every game - that would make a huge difference. I think this is the crux. We've hit a real low ebb on the pitch, and the ground is only half full. Should we get another couple more Hull performanc...

Re: My first rumour report. Things not well at Reading.

Thanks for sharing, you've forgotten to mention the millions they are ploughing into the new training setup and the great progress that is making (fact!). The main fault is they have failed massively in using this as positive PR.

Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

I have moved there from Y20 and whilst it's not massively subscribed it's been a massively better experience not having to sit listening to the whinging, moaning t&%@&^rs sat in front and behind me in Y20. At least the organisers have tried to improve the atmosphere. Let's face it the drumme...

Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

I moved from Y20 to the South Stand with some other season ticket holders so I don't agree with splitting Y26 (BTW in Y20 no one sings only moans or occasionally claps). When I first sat in Y26 when we first moved to the Madstad we brought through some of the atmosphere of the South Bank at Elm Park...

Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

For the record I have moved to the Southstand as I am fed up with the moaners and lack of atmosphere where I currently sit and I'm looking forward to watching a few games with a more away like atmosphere. My original season ticket was in Y26 when the stadium first opened and when people thought you ...

Also feel like they're detrimental to the East Stand atmosphere or at least today it seemed so. Y25 was silent for the majority. They're not creating atmosphere they're just sapping it from other areas of the ground. Can't stand those narcissistic w@nkers Nice to e-meet you nobhead. I went in the S...

Re: Please get our transfer business completed in swift fashion!!!

You are talking rubbish. Everything goes to the deadline day as all the teams selling have to buy replacements etc. etc. you also have the loan market. You can't pin Sky's transfer deadline day extravaganza on Reading however bad we're playing.

Re: BFT £&*@!! - Burton

IMHO, we are great against open attacking teams - I have seen the best football under Stam as well as the worst. If a team lines up with 5 at the back and plays defensively we have been poor. Again, IMHO this is a combination of not having technically good enough players and not changing the system ...

Opposition & boring Reading

I hear lots of stuff about Reading being boring which I totally disagree with (this season). Anybody who understands football will see it is totally down to how the opposition set themselves up to counter our tactics that makes us look boring. We did exactly the same in the PL against Manchester Uni...
