Re: BFTG Fleetwood shambles

So Selles effectively admitting he doesn’t know what else to do. So nothing will change unless the manager changes. Why is our managerial selection process literally so poor? This could have been foreseen given his lack of experience. I think Bowen tends to have support but surely led this decision ...

I can see why this was an easy choice for the board. Hope I’m wrong though. Good luck fella.

Re: Huddersfield v sheff utd match watch

Just looked at the League One table and kind of looking forward to it from a football perspective - some decent teams there, no doubt will be a competitive league and who knows maybe it can be a bit more exciting than recent times. I just hope the extensive work that needs to be done off the pitch g...

Re: CONFIMRED - Paul Ince sacked

I don’t think Ince was the future and whether we stay up or go down I think there would have been a change in the Summer so a view probably taken what is to lose by trying something different now. It’s a shame to see some of the comments towards him though, I think he’s genuinely done his best for t...

Re: Ince out!

Hate to say it but we also play a part in the instability of this club in recent times, perhaps demanding change and expecting more than is realistic. Paunovic had a really good first season; yes season 2 was poor and yes we still couldn’t see games out. But I felt he at least had some competence. S...

Can't believe just how bad some of these professionals are at keeping possession when all it needs is a simple, accurate pass

Re: Points Deduction AGAIN

Not sure exactly where we've gone wrong but it sounds like we have and another deduction will be agreed. From the club statement "significant progress has been made in aiming to achieve those financial targets" basically says we haven't achieved them. And goes on to imply the non-football ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Manchester United (a)

Subs a bit odd. Would have thought pace from Long or Meite would have offered more. Still, doesn't really matter, does it?

Re: MATCHWATCH : Manchester United (a)

Good finish but disappointing from Lumley, went to ground far too early there to make it easy for him

Re: MATCHWATCH : Birmingham City (a)

Meite and Long look a decent pairing. Both somewhat clumsy battering rams, lacking a little guile and finishing, but they'll create plenty of chaos someone might capitalise on. I'd say an industrious pairing. Lots of running and work, but neither are great finishers with pretty average goals per ga...

Re: Liam moore

Don't know about the rights and wrongs of the statement, the goings on behind the scenes, the rumours or any of that, but I do know that on the pitch Liam Moore has been inept this season. Maybe those other things haven't helped that, or maybe he's lost his desire, but either way the right time to g...

Re: When will Pauno be sacked?

Remember the time they gave Stam? Think he overstayed by about 3 months so “nothing to see here” isn’t entirely surprising but at least JS had built up a little “stock” after the playoff final. VP though has not got anywhere near that “stock”, so unless the finance issues stretch into management co...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Derby County (h)

Another Southwood error costs us. And that wasn't his first "ball through the arms" this game - the first one was minutes earlier where the ball luckily hit his leg. I like the lad of course but we're just so unlucky with keepers. Not normally a fan of punching the ball but that's where m...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Derby County (h)

Frustrating waste of points. Not Paunovic's fault in my opinion but the team naturally are sitting back on leads, they seem to change their mindset. Need a leader on the pitch to stop that rot.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Swansea City (h)

Today's as reflective as any game this season really. We've clearly improved on last year, and we are a good Championship team. But we're not yet a great Championship team. Too many inconsistencies, not enough strength from the bench to make a difference when we need it. I think we'd all have taken ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wycombe Wanderers (a)

FWIW fans always massively overreact to losses against bottom of the table. Its like the implicit assumption is bottom of the table means they will lose comfortably every game, whereas in reality they only lose around half the time, so for the other half they picked up results, deservedly or not. N...
