Re: Embargos, HMRC Payment defaults, non payment of wages, the usual under Dai Wrongge

... I believe HMRC is due this week, but that will be lower than the wage bill ... Does RFC pay VAT quarterly or monthly? If quarterly the HMRC bill this month could be substantially bigger than previous months. If the club are a large payer (by HMRC definition*) so would have to pay monthly on acc...

Sutekh Love the way Antony is only any good against Liverpool

Re: LOLiverpooLOL - Next Season

I'm surprised at how little mention the perennial cheat has had for the fact that he should have been sent off. Fernandez, once again, gets away with a dreadful challenge. Not a straight red, but clearly a yellow and a second one. If he'd been the one on the end of the tackle, he'd still be lying o...

Re: What day will the news break?

Potentially a big week ahead, maybe even make or break. What day this week do you think, official (not waffle on X) news will come out regards the sale of the club? If at all. Read rumours on X on Monday, Given false hope on Tuesday, Dai was moving the goalposts on Wednesday and on Thursday, Friday...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Several posts on twitter, mostly seeing one and copying it, saying it`s a done deal, I paid particular interest to the directors box today and Mark Bowen was a lonely figure sitting in the front row on his own. Now if we were on the verge of an imminent takeover to would expect some of them to be h...

Re: Generic clubs in financial crisis Thread

Outside of the big clubs, how many major trophy winners in the last 30ish years have survived without a massive adverse financial impact.

Portsmouth
Wigan
Birmingham
Blackburn
Leicester (apparently in some FFP trouble)
Everton

Those that seem to have ‘survived’ success
Swansea ?
Middlesbrough ?

Re: Weekend Football

One of my pet hates when watching football on TV is the insistence on naming the man if the match before the end if the game. It always makes me want to see a massive change in the game.

And along comes Wolves v Coventry ……… YES !!!!!!!!!

Can someone explain to me why, when a player has been kicked in the face, while jumping no less, the perpetrator does not get a red card ?

Re: Wycombe will be culpable.

Less than two weeks ago there were comments that literally ANYONE would do as an owner to get rid of Dai.
Now there are comments about Saudi’s, American’s, etc.
Have we really decided that the death of the club would be better than either of those or similar ?

Re: Wycombe will be culpable.

If the separate sale of Bearwood facilitates the sale of the club (I know it’s a stretch) then Wycombe will have been instrumental in SAVING the club ….. just saying

Re: MATCHWATCH : Derby County (a)

Not sure this angle of the "foul" has been posted yet. Ouch. https://twitter.com/Alex_Lipniski/status/1767704767613096394 I can see now why GWL thinks Yids got what he deserved, standing there not even tackling the bloke GWL stated that Yids ‘lunged in’ and ‘went to ground’ I think he sho...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Derby County (a)

JP had every chance of getting his hands on the ball and may well have done, if the two players then collide then how is that an offence. Is JP not allowed to run as quickly as Gayle. If Gayle handles the ball before any collision then that is the first offence and the point at which the ref should...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Derby County (a)

If you dont want to concede penalties, you don't rush out of your box and bundle into a player, knowing that will mean the ref will have to make a decision based on what he has seen. Every single comment along the lines of "it was crystal clear" is because you are watching on a TV with th...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

It's utterly irrational, illogical and incomprehensible to us, but not to him. He has invested a load of money and time into something, and now he wants a return on that investment. He clearly has a price below which he won't sell and literally nothing that can be done will change that fact. Whilst...
