Re: Villa (A)

Re-arranged from a good day out on Easter Monday 3.00 KO to Tuesday 7.45pm KO. All jolly good stuff  https://www.readingfc.co.uk/news/2018/january/efl-move-villa-a-clash-to-tuesday-night/ Glad to see, from club site, that the club opposed this. Given various recent precedents (eg Blackpool aw...

Re: Madjeski and Howe

There is ONE Chinese owner - Dai Yongge. We're told he owns a club in China that has been promoted to their equivalent of the PL and a club in Belgium where a couple of our lesser euro-talents are currently on loan. We believe he does attend matches here in person from time to time but he's clearly ...

Re: Hull (a)

The STAR coach to Hull is now full. We've had an invite from their supporters club for Reading fans to use the Airco Arena next to the stadium for pre match drinks (cheaper!) and telly football. Open from 1.45pm, friendly welcome promised, I read that this closes at 2:15 though? 2.45pm on the messa...

Still waiting on summary but content won't be much different to the interview that Ron gave to BBCRB recently.

Re: Sunderland (A)

The Stumble Inn, Chester RD, SR1 3SD. There's match day parking, it's three stops on the Metro or a 1.3 mile walk to the stadium. Anyone know if the Metro is busy after the game/ cost etc.. ? Believe there is a day ticket for £2.60 for all your Metro needs. Last home game 27,000 crowd so not likely...

Re: Sunderland (A)

Had a note, possibly from the publican himself, suggesting this away-friendly pub for pre match.

In other news tWo STAR coaches will be going, leaving MS at 6.30am.

Re: Ron Gourlay at Fans Forum

STAR, why do you no longer post the notes of the senior club management meeting on your website anymore? Fair point. The frequency of the meetings has decreased lately but I think there must be some notes not posted. Slothfulness on our part. I will look into it. Good to have an active membership k...

Re: Parking

Has anyone noticed that they don't take payment on the gate to get into Holiday Inn any more. Looks like they've installed cameras and you have to pay by phone. I didn't know this until this morning so expecting a ticket in the next day or so for last night. Anyone else not realised that its now au...
