Have to say, he may have overhit some passes and such but i'm well impressed by Long's first touch and turning on the ball Shame his second is then almost invariably absolute toilet. Liverpool defecne looks a bit dozy and the game looks set up for Kitson TBH. What made Benayoun's goal look good was...

Fae looks good. So do Bobby and Bikey. Halls has held his own as well. Not a bad performance so far Agree, just a shame we've got Long upfront - imagine we had Kitson! We'd be winning this game! I like the lad, but he looks lost .... Otherwise, Fae looks really strong and skillful in the middle - r...

This is just such a load of rubbish I can't believe anyone is running this story. In Sidwell's own interest it would look soooo bad if he were to come back here on loan - it would be like saying 'Yep, I've realised I'm not good enough to make the step up'. If he goes out on loan, I'd say it would be...

One thing on the fan debate not mentioned so far is our drummer - he is often highlighted as the worst bit of support. I did notice that in the recent England games there was a drummer in the crowd - does that make England fans plastics as well?

Reading 0 Wigan 1 We're still short of ideas I'm afraid and Sibierski stabs it into the net following a penalty box scramble to steal the points with only minutes remaining. Overall a dire game with Reading still looking poor and Wigan generally looking fairly crisp and confident. What we'll actual...

Re: 10 Benefits of the Championship

1 Lower ticket prices 2 See our players performing against their true peers 3 Less Prima Donna behaviour by same 4 No need to go through building stadium extension, walking through dust etc. 5 No chance of getting into Europe 6 Parachute payments and lower player wages means JM has smile on face 7 ...

Re: Confidence is the key

I find some of the posters on this site so disappointing. The negativity on Hobnob is quite amazing. I have watched Reading for many years and we have just had by far the most successful years ever in the cub's history. I accept that the management should not be complacent but I do not for one mome...

JimGRoyal Yes it is a puzzle that we have found no capable right wingers. I don't believe Oster is our saviour. Seol was never going to be. Little could be. We desperately need another Little. Does he have a twin?

No but he's got a brother, but I think he's still too little .....

I do think that SC got it tactically wrong - or if not the team were not listening to his instructions. I can imagine AC told them that we would be putting them under pressure and to sit back and wait for the break - unfortunately for us, they didn't have to wait and got their first after 6 minutes....

So where all those guys with all the inside info? Shows you how crap this site is when no-one can identify the name of a guy who actually is here and all you get is rumours about Fowler having been seen at the MadStad. I agree - I cant believe that there isnt someone who can shed some light on this...

Don't think any one has suggested for a second we'd be better off without him, just that on Saturday his body language was all wrong particularly in the first half - the reasons for that I don't know. Maybe he didn't like the wind blowing the rain in his face. To say that losing Shorey would equal ...

I'd suggest to write Sidwell of at Chelsea so soon is also premature. He's a really gutsy type and will battle it out there for sure. I wish him well, and am pleased at how we have got on with the job without him - typical RFC style to be honest. Nice one - totally agree. I also hope that he does w...

Given that: 1) He can't run more than 10 yards with the ball before bringing play to a halt; 2) He is poor at tackling; 3) His movement off the ball is desperately slow; and 4) When faced with a defender, he tries to go round him too many times What useful role can he play in the team? Basically, h...

Was that really the names of their subs - so it was men vs rent(s) boys and gay boys ....

brendywendy I hear from a reliable sauce that Chris Bennett will complete a £100,000 switch to Swindon after Reading decided to cash in on the suspect centre half.
