Re: Emerse Fae

I know many transfers are a risk, in fact mostly all of them, but he and Halford do smack of poor scouting to me. Fae has been a horrendous signing, and I think it has to do with his attitude. Coppell seems to like players who are motivated to improve. Judging by Fae's statements he is one of those...

Re: The Matejovsky Chronicle

Matejovsky, with his new found skills, is now restless contemplating whether or not to quit football to become a lecturer in English language, or to become a theoretical physicist after having somehow condensed 89 minutes of time into a mere 12 minutes. Mrs Matejovsky is unimpressed as all she hears...

Left back, cool.

That's the position that worries me most. Priority for sure.

Re: Re:

a typically laughable babelfish translation from US Boulogne's website, but it looks like they are fairly adamant that he won't leave. English makes the soft eyes with Jimmy Kebé but the USBCO does not see it this?il. All this week, the Kebé polemic, Reading, Lens and the USBCO, made speak about it...

Re: If we really are one of the quietest teams....

How sad we've resorted to HNA to make up chants. In the good ol' days anything you chanted would be picked up and supported by those around you, and through banter and expermient new chants would evolve. Now if you sing anything other than blarmy you get people turn round and stare at you like you'v...

Re: Cisse = God (For The Day!)

SC said he was bought as a midfielder but given that his best performances have been in central defence and he was playing there for Boavista I would rather suggest that SC needs to review that and given our general crapness in that position perhaps he maybe the answer (well at least in the short t...

Question. I'm a little confused and forgetful. Was this the first time Cisse started as CB for us? Was he generally used as midfielder?

BBC state Manure weren't at their best... http://newsimg.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/7184824.stm So that's why, it wasn't us raising our game then! It was both. You don't seriously think United were at their best? Why? Who were they missing that was critical for their 'best'? No-on...

LOL at Tredder taking the piss out of my faith in Marek, sounds like he did well. Who did he come on for and where did he play? Came on for Convey. I *think* Hunt then went left wing and he played centrally. He gave the ball away a couple of times but otherwise made excellent pass after excellent p...

The big difference for me is the dynamism and pace brought into central midfield by Hunt. God we've missed it. On this showing I'd like to see how he'd work together there with Marek. I can't see us changing it whilst we're holding them and probably rightly. I'd quite like to see Marek get at least...
