Re: Vuvuzelas at the MadStad - Yes or No?

Will they be in the ground? Could easily be used as a "weapon of mass destruction" doubt very much that the stewards will allow them in. If they do i can see people being beaten up with them, i for one will be at the front of the queue.

Re: Brett Emmerton

midfielder isn't he? dont think we need another tbh, also doubt a player of his quality would drop down to the championship a newcastle or westbrom would be more likely option imo

doyle to arsenal

Reports are claiming that Doyle is being linked with a £12 million move to Arsenal. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is supposed to have been impressed by him when the two teams met. He even said that he had been following him since his Reading days. He said this not long ago too. I like him personally...

Re: Sir John Madejski: A millionaire politician but without the

He has spent £86m making the printworks fit for modern purpose and clients are at last streaming in. Revenues of £70m this year are forecast to hit £100m in 2011. Had he spent 86 million on Reading i'm sure he would have seen more of a return than the 14 million quoted above Also intresting that he...

Re: Stewards

Football stadiums dont actually fall under the smoking ban, it's club policy that bans it. I have been to numerous stadiums over the last couple of years that have terracing that allows smoking, i dont think its completely out the question for there to be smoking in the terraces.

A lot of fans from elm park days don't go anymore because of the all seater, non smoking, over priced madjeski stadium. All three could be sorted with terracing

Re: for the first time in living memory...

Pompey will finish mid table, as will Burnely. Hull may break into the play offs. I don't think Norwich will be that strong in the Championship though. i think pompey are doomed, certs for relegation imo, hull are a one maybe two man team cant see either myhill or bullard there next year, and as fo...
