Re: In or Out?

maffff
Y21 Was it that successful for us? It got us third, woop de doop, but ultimately failed when it mattered most.

The system missed two penalties?

No..... 'The System' resulted in a penalty shoot-out, after we showed little ambition to win the game in 90 minutes

Re: MATCHWATCH : Leeds United (a) sponsored by a deep dark realisation that this way creeps

Brilliant result! Great to see Stam giving a little to allow us to be direct. He clearly is the man to take us forward! Delighted for Mo, impressed everytime I’ve seen him this year. Obviously Lolololeeds..... If he is 'clearly' the man for the job, you think he might have changed tactics sooner - ...

Re: Back from booing at my tv screen

Winston Biscuit
Snowball 6 Blackett. Decent with some great touches

WTAF?? It looked like a fan had won a competition to be in the starting XI.

Blackett is very clever with the ball at his feet and in that respect reminds me of HRK ... who by the way would walk back into this side just now ... :o

Re: Gunter

Agreed.... he is the least of our worries just now.

Ironically playing in a back five suits him better as he has less traditional defending to do - he made a vital block in the first half yesterday and hit the bar in the second.

Re: Norwich City Saturday Crowd and Score Predictions

Not sure about Pardew. But I'm certainly not one to say never due to the circumstances he left in, as that's childish IMO Who else is out there? I heard Sir Steve Coppell was sitting next to Brian Trevenden at Millwall............. :| PS I think I could just about forgive Judas after all this time

Re: In or Out?

I find myself sat on the fence... I listen to the same old 'Double Dutch Physcobabble' in the post match interviews and think - didn't he say that last week? I am totally bored by this style of play (and NO for me, its not all about results), but would a 'new broom sweep clean' AND how long might it...

Re: JVdB Signs One Year Extension

Without doubt Joey is a 'Marmite' character and to be fair he has improved in some respects since last season. He can pick a pass and his commitment is there for all to see BUT he is an accident waiting to happen. This news does nothing to lift a certain 'sense of doom' which appears to have surface...

Re: BFTG Millwall

Marcus Crassus JvB was solid tonight, GMac was less than hopeless. Did you actually go to the game?

'Solid' being the operative word - which probably led to the chants about a 'fat bar steward'

Yes, I was there...... for 85 minutes

BFTG Millwall

That was fun, NOT - still at least we know there is a plan B, wait until we score then bring on a striker - that worked well :?

PS How does Joey get in the team ahead of Bacuna - he was dire this evening.

Well that will encourage the players, never mind the fans.... "there is no way we are going to win the league"

May as well give up now then :|

I know there both Welsh and I'm not saying all Welsh people look the same, but is it just me or do Dave Edwards and Gunter look like they could be brothers? I think you probably meant to say "I know THEY ARE both Welsh" Are you and Jeremy Clarkson brothers..... your comments are equally p...

Re: Transfer fees out of control

As CR said, look at all our comparative big signings: Lita, Halford, Fae, Bikey, Mills, Vydra, Seol, etc etc etc. How many of them have been better than Ok? It's oxf*rd all. All our most impactful signings have been comparatively cheap or home grown. Are you seriously suggesting Lita was not better...

genome I think I might quit Twitter.

Invaded by Fulham fans yesterday, giving it the big one. Baffling.
