Re: Who is a better DOF Brian or Nicky

A big influence on Brian's dealings is having a big name such as Stam as a draw for the new players. Would think that Nicky would get similar decent players in if he worked with Stam alongside him. Not saying that Brian's not doing a decent job but very difficult to compare the two. Bilic's comments...

Re: Ipswich (a)

One thing to be aware of if your driving to Ipswich. The company I work for are removing a bridge over the A12 at Kelvedon and it will be shut all weekend with a 20 mile diversion route. Give yourself a bit more time to get there. Had an update, looks like the closure won't be until until 8pm so ma...

Re: BFTG - Fulham Home

Did anyone else notice the police outside the away end were Met Police and not TVP. I didn't see any TVP. Interested to know who foots the bill for them as I assume they were asked to attend by Fulham. Have you ever been to an away game? Go to plenty of away games. Never noticed TVP in Met area bef...

Re: Jem Karacan

I wouldn't take him unless as a replacement for Gunter. For all his running around and effort he never really produced. Not enough goals, not enough assists. For me his best game was away at Millwall in 2011/12 when he played at Right back. Really good going forward and solid defensively. Surprised ...

Re: Old Trafford Legal Action

AthleticoSpizz how many tickets did we sell?

£15 x that figure.......pretty decent gesture from a club in so much debt

Well done Reading

Surely it would only cost the club £7.50 per ticket as they get 50% on the takings back anyway.

Probably going through FPP so nothing to report until it is either approved or collapses. Seem to remember it took months when AZ took over.

Re: BFTF ...Some hazy blobs...(H)

Lets face it, the 'fog' would have got worse again second half as it mostly consisted of the breath/body heat of the fans hitting the cold, damp air..... of course it was going to clear at half time. In the same way the temperature always drops at HT Was thinking exactly this. The fog lifted when h...

Re: The romance of the cup

Fair play to Reading for subsidising the tickets. Shit form from Man U to try and charge so much in the first place.

Rowett just been sacked by Birmingham. How insane is that. Only outside the playoffs by GD.

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

We were in Putney as they all ran up behind us closely followed by vans, cars and police on foot. Didn't realise they were Reading fans. just looked like a bunch of chavs no older than 18. Every one with a shit cap on. Pretty pathetic.

Re: Fulham (A)

Mildly cheaper option for those going from Reading, avoiding the tube: Reading to Twickenham Twickenham to Putney. £17.30, takes 1hr 24 minutes. That's the way we normally go but this year England are playing at Twickers at 2:30pm. Last year our game with Fulham was a 12:30 kick off to avoid the Wo...

Re: BFTG Villa

:| pretty much spread between the thirds on Tuesday. imo Far from the case. To be fair, it's never likely to be even, but gut feel can be very misleading. Follow this link and click on the Heat Map. For those who can't be arsed to look, for a home team looking to win, it's heavily skewed in our own...

Irrelevant now anyway as you can cut down as many trees as you like until March. (as long as they don't have a TPO on them).

Re: Arsenal (A)

4,000 sold and that's just individual ST holders Given we're entitled to over 9,000 seats, taking just 5,300 seems a bit odd The allocation in the League Cup is up to 10%, but it's 15% in the FA Cup. I'm not sure how corporate seats affect this but we appear to have about 9%. Yeah but Coventry http...

Re: Brentford (A)

Just an idea for those looking to drive, my neck of the woods (Mortlake/Sheen) is unrestricted parking in most places in the evenings, as is Barnes/Barnes Bridge - all of these are a short train from Brentford. I thought most of London was unrestricted parking after 6pm / 6:30pm? Worked in Chelsea ...
