Re: Confimred loan - Ovie Ejaria

I wish I hadn't continued looking for stuff regarding Reading and Rodgers, came upon a Skysports article discussing Rodgers and what went wrong at Reading and this quite actually wound me up a bit: "The following season culminated in a play-off final between Reading and Rodgers' new club Swanse...

Re: Confimred loan - Ovie Ejaria

Dat Dellor interview doe Tim really lives on that interview, I think it's his proudest moment. I missed that, is it online / podcast somewhere? I searched for it myself, thankfully it was the top result for "Tim Dellor Brendan Rodgers" https://www.dailymotion.com/video/xctmrs It's interes...

Re: Swift to... Southampton

Interesting that Sheffield United have £12m to throw at a keeper (that got rejected) but are still offering low amounts for Swift.

Re: Rumour - Olise to Leeds

I don't disagree, I think we're in the situation where he will go for nothing in a year. Absolutely dreadful move by the club all round on how they have handled Moore's transfer/contract situation. he has 3 years left on his contract. if he was in his final year then it'd be good news Oh wow, yeah ...

Re: Rumour - Olise to Leeds

It is a difficult situation, it is the idea of getting him in the shop window and maybe getting something for him before his contract expires next summer, where he'll either take a massive paycut or some club will take a punt on him for nothing, I know which is more likely. I get that we shouldn't p...

Re: Rumour - Olise to Leeds

With regards to Moore, in the current situation we're very unlikely to move him on, someone might think they could recapture his best form but are they going to spend the money the club are likely to hold out for? The only solution really is to play him and hope he re-discovers the form that saw Bri...

Re: Swift to... Southampton

I think we hold out for £5m-6m for Swift but Olise we should keep unless we also get an offer of £5m+. I get we need to get our finances in order but part of that is relying on promising young players like Olise and selling our developed stars like Swift. In a better climate we'd probably get more f...

Re: Rival Watch

Brentford just needed 1 win in the end against Stoke or Barnsley and bottled it, they then got themselves in the final and could be argued to have bottled it, Fulham are a good side but Brentford played nowhere near their best today.

Re: Rival Watch

I suspect Fulham will win tonight, Brentford don't do well in the play-offs, much like us. 8 attempts, no promotions. However they can join us and Sheffield United on 4 Final defeats tonight. I didn’t realise that was their record, it’s worse than ours. Yep, we've just had more final defeats, unles...

Re: Swift to... Southampton

tbh it hasn't been working for the last 5 years. A different approach and team is no bad thing. It's time for a change. if it means we lose some of our better players? meh, who gives a oxf*rd. there is no one in the squad that I'm worried about losing. I'm fairly sure we could achieve a similar lea...

Re: Squad for 2020/21

I think we'll be fine without Osho, his playing career would suggest that his run at the end of the season was a bit of a purple patch, I can't see him ending up any higher then mid League One, I suspect he'll actually end up at League Two.

Re: Swift to... Southampton

I hope the owner intervention is limited to saying "No he can't go for £3.5m, we can get more than that" which would be fair, I'd be concerned if they genuinely think we can just keep hold of our most talented players amid Premier League interest, it just upsets the player who can see the ...

Re: Dai Yongge in trouble with Chinese government

Serious question to mods- when a racist/Russian troll/whatever keeps signing up, is it not easy to kick them out asap? Must we endure this **** for longer than 48 hours? I know the site needs footfall, but you're going to keep more people away by letting illiterate racists stay on here than keeping...

Re: Dai Yongge in trouble with Chinese government

Stop trying to diverge with fake news, I never mentioned English owners/players!. And did you not know spell check is free?. No, you referred to Johnny Foreigner. In football terms Scots are foreigners. Too subtle for you. What has spellcheck got to do with anything ? If I ran spellcheck on your co...
