Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

Hendo As per Twitter:

Akin Odimayo and Andre Burley are both joining Irish side Waterford on loan

Seems strange..

Re: Ex Players

Judge a player on how they contribute not their body shape. His contribution was fine. Was it? Boye has contributed more and we all slate him. Do we all slate him? In all seriousness, pretty sure Boye has had at least double the minutes McNulty had and even then Boye himself hasn’t been given many ...

Re: Ex Players

I’ve never bought into that, he always looked fairly energetic and lively in his brief cameos I always thought that was people’s justification for him not being given a proper chance Look was the key word. He might have been fit as a fiddle, still had some extra fudge. Judge a player on how they co...

Re: BFTG - Baggies

On reflection - Baldock's cameo coming on was a clear message to Bowen and the team for that matter. This is how you press, this is how you fluster the opposition. Never saw any of that from Puscas whole game. I'm sure this argument wont be liked by everyone but I dont think he is asked to. Puscas ...

Re: BFTG - Baggies

Clearly onside. Obviously the camera angle isn't great, but who is clearly playing him onside? Moore, Obita? Bartley's right foot looks closer to the goal line than either of them. Moore is playing him onside, camera angle isn't great I will grant you. Must be the angle then as, to me, he looks fur...

Re: BFTG - Baggies

Nothing wrong with the numbers IMO. Especially when you compare them with WBAs last night, those were a struggle! +1 At one point I thought two players had the number 3 shirt on, I'm guessing one was an 8 or a 13, Very difficult to read. I couldn't read the back of HRK's shirt when he was down inju...

Re: BFTG - Baggies

East Grinstead Royal 2021 being the club's 150th anniversary would be a good time to bring back caps as part of the kit.

Shirt numbers you can actually see from a distance of more that 40 yards might be an idea...

Re: BFTG - Baggies

It might be a bit tricky to find 20+ different haircuts but are players allowed to wear wigs (or hats) on the pitch? You'd only need 11 and when someone is subbed off they could swap headgear like when a subbed captain hands over the armband. They could also sell replicas in the club shop. We would...

Re: BFTG - Baggies

My sense of self importance is insufficient to trigger that request. Re: BFTG - Baggies

As long as they6standing next to each that's fine. This Araruna is close That Swift is far away. Have you written a letter to the club asking for the players to all get different and easily identifiable haircuts? I'll cosign if so. My sense of self importance is insufficient to trigger that request...

Re: Ex Players

I think if we were to do an XI based off who was the most harshly treated, McNulty would be there He was never given a proper opportunity here but it wasn’t like he wasn’t showing anything in his brief cameos either, he scored one game, started the next, and was never seen again for us And he looke...

Re: BFTG - Baggies

Tough game, good effort towards the end and unsurprising but disappointing result. Missed the first 15 minutes but: Cabral - 6 fine. Missed his alleged clanger early on and have much less issue with him for the goal than everyone commenting on the match thread. Yiadom - 7 good return Obita -7 good ...

Re: BFTG - Baggies

I would make tickets half price on midweek games, promote the hell out of it too. The club might have a mates rates thing in place but I haven't heard of it before, certainly not enough to tell you what it is. It is poorly communicated. Treble Royalty points for midweek games. A midweek games only ...

Re: BFTG - Baggies

paultheroyal I like Bowen, like his honesty and hope he is given the opportunity in the summer to re-shape squad. However, he needs to stop coming onto the pitch at full time and head straight to the ref. Stinks of desparation.

Tbf, the ref was dogshite.

Re: BFTG - Baggies

I agree, had their first shot not hit the bar, everyone would've slated him for an awful error. It was a poor attempt at a save and he got lucky. That was probably the worse half I have seen him play, as he has been otherwise excellent for us. He has certainly grown into the game with us this seaso...

Re: BFTG - Baggies

What an odious little twerp you are  For the goal he made the save despite having poor visibility through the players, but he will probably be a bit disappointed he didn’t tip it away further. Other than that, he made a series of decent saves to take us into the break level. Maybe try and enga...
