Re: Osho - best crosser of the ball at the club. Discuss.

Disappointing to lose Osho. Not sure to what extent Araruna and Watson are credible options. They’ve both looked promising but haven’t really convinced the men in charge. Could maybe see Holmes taking the same CB->RB route that Osho took. He has a good touch but not the same athleticism. Physically...

Re: Osho - best crosser of the ball at the club. Discuss.

If I were Brentford I’d be talking to Osho. I don’t think he’s going to be a PL star but I reckon there is decent money to be made on him in the future

Re: Something sinister in the Championship

Rumours of Sheffield Weds malpractice have been surfacing since Xmas. For some reason the EFL will not be deducting the 12 points this season; but instead they will lose 12 points the season coming. Who cares? This could be what keeps us up next season ... Well in that case we care ! Although I don’...

Re: Osho - best crosser of the ball at the club. Discuss.

I'd say he has been advised just fine, we have tried to stuff him on the wages and his agent has got him a better deal elsewhere. No way he would leave for the sake of leaving at this point in his career, must have something lined up. Such a shame we are losing him. My understanding is we originall...

Re: Osho - best crosser of the ball at the club. Discuss.

Big shame this - liked the look of him at rb So at present, we have no back up rb or lb! Sigh. Araruna and Watson. It’s bizarre, we’re barely into the close season and people are worried we don’t have more than a couple of back up options at full back ! I suspect Bowen has spotted this, Imsuspect i...

Re: Osho - best crosser of the ball at the club. Discuss.

He'll get a few games in a league one club, who else will sign him? He's taken a huge risk in the current climate and is being poorly advised, probably got the same agent as Loader I'd say he has been advised just fine, we have tried to stuff him on the wages and his agent has got him a better deal...

Re: Osho - best crosser of the ball at the club. Discuss.

Aaand.... there goes the best crosser at the club as far as I'm concerned. Leaving us with Obita and Blackett, who at least some others here feel were better crossers. Oh, hang on.... Not sure how big a thing it is for a reserve full back to be the best crosser of the ball. He was unlikely to play ...

Re: Confimred loan - Ovie Ejaria

I doubt many people will offer more wages than us. We're consistently fairly high payers. Absolutely, but I'm talking in the current situation with what can afford. Chances are others in a less bad situation will be able to affford more and we'll have no chance. I recall someone (not sure who) sayi...

Re: Swift to... Southampton

No one in our team has performed consistently enough, or to a high enough standard that they're worth refusing multi-million pound offers for. Not. A. One. Take Swift. Significant previous injury problems. One particularly good season of goals and assists. Highly creative but also part of the probl...

Re: Confimred loan - Ovie Ejaria

Has Ovie definitely left for good? It's just that it has been clearly announced that others have officially left for good by with Ovie there's not been much said other than keeping him is unlikely. I haven't been keeping up too much though so I might have missed something. Suggests to me the deal i...

Re: Something sinister in the Championship

From what I understand, if Wednesday didn't do the creative accounting they'd have got a punishment for breaching FFP anyway. Presumably if Derby sold the stadium at market value so would they. From what I've heard on the news, Wednesday did sell there stadium but the sale was too late for the FFP ...

Royality creeps In
Simmops Arsenal are such an FA cup winning team.

Eddie Nketiah has won more trophies than Harry Kane.

Can’t be many with a Championship and an FA cup winners medal in the same season.
Technically he has the same combination of medals as the great Arsenal 1971 double winning side got.

Re: Confimred loan - Ovie Ejaria

On the whole scouting thing Brentford seem to do a lot of recruitment from France. Thats not revolutionary. Alan Carrs dad did it for Newcastle for years. Its a well known bargain bin. The other thing on Brentford is the owners pay 0 attention to the table. They see that as a false way to evaluate ...

Re: Squad for 2020/21

Unless his 11 goals turned up in games against teams that Reading drew against or lost out to. See if Reading had had Chris Martin last season it’d have been in the play offs  But even then it would depend on who he was replacing.... is this retrospective buying of goals an actual thing ? no i...

Re: Squad for 2020/21

Was going through ‘personal issues’ during his loan spell with us....no wonder he was loaned out...Reading the xuckers as usual. What would his last seasons 11 goals have done for us? Noth8ng if he had played instead of either of the 2 players who scored more.... Unless his 11 goals turned up in ga...

Re: Dai Yongge in trouble with Chinese government

I’m all a bit confused by this. Is this a smoking gun we should be worried about or just what we know that many football club owners have questionable dealings with their money? No point us being worried, we have no control over any of it. There’s been no hint of them being anything other than stra...

Re: Something sinister in the Championship

Have Derby been charged or not? Obviously we haven't. Proving something on valuation is going to be trickier than on dodgy dates I'd have thought, though Derby's looks excessively suspicious. And we're all guilty of trying to play the rules... though I think we probably fall on the right side of ok...

Re: Something sinister in the Championship

I do wonder, though, why the EFL did not announce the results of the enquiry until after the season ended. Perhaps the EFL should make a rule that all points deductions will be made the following season, that way clubs and supporters would not be confused as to when (and why) the punishment is hand...
