Re: Anton took money!!

Well given he was the one funding the deal that would make sense. Also the one who eventually killed it. Almost as if he had a plan..... I have not heard the podcast yet but forbury makes it sound as if it was part of the original contract. From memory anton went missing and at least 2 payment dead...

Re: Michael Morrison

Royalwaster Very true re. Yiadom - unreal ... the work he put in on Saturday in that heat was immense.

Playing in the heat of Egypt for ACON probably meant Saturday felt quite chilly

Re: MATCHWATCH : Huddersfield Town (a) sponsored by Steve Francis

Puscas looked very tired on Wednesday evening in the second half. Don’t know how much of a pre season he had in Italy

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

IMO squad depth is quite patchy. Looks like we have 6-7 strikers / forwards now, so Nova and Loader will have limited options for game time. Interesting that Loader made the bench at West Brom rather than Baldock (who actually would have been a decent option the other night to replace the tiring Boy...

Re: BFTG WBA

Overall decent performance and would have taken 1-1 all day long before kick off. But feels a bit disappointing to drop 2 points now. Rafa 7 - actually had nothing to do in the first half. Looked like a really good save in the second but was largely untroubled (a sign of a solid defensive display in...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (h) sponsored by Adam Federici

Doesn’t need to be a Swift or Rino debate. Reckon we could go 4-4-2 with a midfield diamond of Pele deep, Rino right, Ovie left and Swift attacking.

Would love it to incorporate his classic quote “I live for score”

Otherwise I think we need a classic

Re: CONFIMRED - Ovie Ejaria

An area for improvement, shooting. If he can add 5+ goals this season it will be great. But has potential for more than that but he seems to be a bit shot shy

Re: BFTG - Cardiff

I loved the full bloodied tackle Morrison out in about half way through the first half. Almost a ball popper. Think it was Ralls for them. Fair play, he went at it full tilt too

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (h) sponsored by Adam Federici

When I saw the lineup I felt more positive than I've felt for eons. The whole balance looked right. Ejaria was a monster.......won everything. Puscas ran himself into the ground, made a nuisance of himself and scored two fabulous goals. Joao caused them loads of issues and generally we were magnifi...

Re: Rival Watch

Cardiff terrible. If you’re going to play route one football then you need a centre forward or two who can play that style. Their no 9 was a big lad but didn’t win anything in the air, and got outfought by The Triple M. They will regret selling Zahore. Aiden Flint was made to look a complete donkey ...

Re: BFTG - Cardiff

Thought Cardiff were absolute dross today. They had to blame Warnock for the double sub at HT. totally lost their shape, no width and had nothing in midfield (helped by Bacuna being in there). Very bizarre. Aiden Flint made it look very slow and cumbersome. I always rated Ejaria last season. His wor...

Wonder if Nova is being lined up for another loan. Currently seems to be about 5th or 6th choice now

Re: Any more out the door?

€60000 per month, or €15000 per week, which at the exchange rates of the day, was probably around £10000 per week. That’s entirely believable (if totally unmerited) for a full international with experience in senior European competitions. Probably a massive pay rise compared to what he was on and wh...

Re: CONFIMRED - Barrow on his way

Why is he allowed out on loan but not Gunter & GMac? Some very odd decisions going on at the mo Because the fees offered for G & GMac were 'derisory' from what I've heard - they knew we wanted to offload and hence tried to get them for very little, whereas for Barrow we've been offered a ve...

Re: CONFIMRED - Ovie Ejaria

The size and colour of numbers on the back of the shirt are reasonably standard. If Derby choose to give Rooney number 32 and change the entire team number colour to red, how does that contravene sponsorship rules ? Read my original post. But simply put back of shirt sponsorship is limited to a cer...

So just make them all red - can’t see the problem and good luck to them It’s the size which is the problem, rather than the colour The size and colour of numbers on the back of the shirt are reasonably standard. Re: CONFIMRED - Ovie Ejaria

Really ? Why not simply change the colour of the numbers to red ? EFL potentially looking at this deal and stating the size of the shirt number exceeds the maximum size for back of shirt sponsorship. If they changed the colour of Rooney’s numbers and no one else, then it’d definitely make the EFL r...

Currently feeling happy that I didn’t renew my ST. Gomes will be gone by December. Dai won’t mess about having splashed the cash though it feels like the Steve Clarke summer
