Re: BFIT - Wycombe (H)

We have lost more FA cup games than any other team apparantly...

Re: Football - The Covid Years

CL is more exciting (though it has lost some of it's appeal in recent years) as the teams don't meet very often. All of them playing each other twice a year will very soon lose it's appeal Traditional big teams who then become the mediocre teams in this new format and can't compete for the title wi...

Re: Next 5 games are key

The key is essentially averaging 2 points a game which would give 92 points at the end of the season which should really ensure automatic promotion unless it’s a season very heavily dominated by a couple of other clubs. Currently I think Reading are on a ratio of 2.6666 ppg so already have a little ...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

Yeah, but he's an idiot. I'd rather win the Play Offs than the League anyway... though maybe not this year. But that would be so typically Reading FC, play-off final past failures not completely laid to rest because the winning final is played behind closed doors! Definitely getting way ahea...

Re: BFIT - Wycombe (H)

Currently on for 122 points. That's not going to scan well. :x I love that people are saying "we can't keep this up" like, no shit. We're not going to end up with 122 points.. Most we can end up on is 109 otherwise the song wouldn’t work anymore. I suppose worst case if we fcuked ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Rotherham United (h) sponsored by a James Harper debut

I would not break up Laurent Rino unless we have to and I don’t think we do, I also would not want to start Semedo - doesn’t offer much for defensive stability. Harsh on Semedo considering he won 4 aerial duels and 2 tackles. Though he pressed really well. Perhaps Aluko would be better suited to th...

Re: VAR

To be honest, whether Mane was offside or not, it wasn't exactly a clear and obvious error by the official, unless of course they are no longer flagging, safe in the knowledge that VAR will make the decision for them. I just don't think VAR should be used to scrutinise to that degree. Why don't FIF...

Re: LOLiverpooLOL - Next Season

Fair enough but of those examples, even in the best case scenario, 76 points would have still left you 5 points adrift of the Champions. I remember Wenger's context being that 2 points a game should win you the title. I guess now that the gap between the top 6 and every one else widens, thet figure...

Re: England - the future....

Friendly with Ireland announced for 12th November, which means for a second month, England will play three times in a week. Why? Agree it’s utterly ludicrous. Friendlies should be totally binned, it’s bad enough having the stupid Nations League in operation when really the international breaks for ...
