Re: Emergency loan window

We've got Blackman and Taylor and sometimes Obita who can play there  so the club won't be interested.

Re: Injury table and expected return....

It is ridiculous all this, yet Nigel is qualified as a physio on top of all the sports scientists and the day to day physios we've got looking after the players.

One wonders if we have an agent from another Championship club in amongst our coaching/medical staff somewhere?

Re: Generic clubs in financial crisis Thread

Best thing for all would be a complete scrapping of parachute payments forcing cubs to accept they can't compete with the really big boys and that way the 75% of clubs who have zero chance of getting near the top 6/7 places can compete with themselves on a much safer basis. And just perhaps the PL s...

Go online, you can't call the club to book tickets as international calls can't be put through into the telephone system!

Loan Window 2014/2015

Gossip and rumours for loans for Reading this season.

No real links as yet but I feel we could do with a left winger on 1 or 2 months loan and a central defender with a view to a permanent.

Re: Internationals Watch

More simply there should be none of this crap parent/grand parent, great grand parent/once visited a country cobblers, a player should have their nationality dictated by their passport so that should be the deciding factor in most cases. With a UK passport that obviously means 4 "countries"...

Sounds like Platini is starting to get into Blatter mode now so that he is unopposed in 4 years time for that election.

Re: AGM and Fans Forum - Thurs 4th Sept

Will any notes be available from this on the website in the next week or two?

I would be interested to know if anyone asked whether NA was disappointed that Murray hasn't picked up an injury in training yet and whether he sees that being put right before the Fulham game?

Re: Rumour - Oliver Norwood

Agree with that, not sure what Dillon or Saunders were on, seemed to think that Hector was a midfielder based on his 2/3 appearances in the 1st team there rather than his countless appearances for Aberdeen and the youngsters as a central defender.

Re: Kuhl in, Akpan OUT

Unbelievable amount of injuries in that area. Kuhl and Akpan are the only, what you'd call, central midfielders that are currently fit. Hopefully we can sign Norwood today and have him and Kuhl form the central midfield at Forest (although I think NA may well try a midfield three up there meaning Ak...

Re: BFTG - Huddersfield (H)

Another home game, another dreadful pile of crap. Different season same old result. Great to see the youngsters given their chance but without more experience in the team there's just going to be nothing to this season apart from hopefully laying the building blocks for something more successful nex...

Re: Rumour - Oliver Norwood

Think, with the arrival of Norwood - if it does happen - we have enough in the midfield department. Certainly Norwood, Kuhl, Karacan, Guthrie and Williams should be sufficient for a full season covering the two/three central roles depending on formation. This would enable Akpan to move on and stop t...

Re: footy phone in request

Have to go some to find somewhere that sells red bounties. I always get the impression 99% shops are "red-ist", only Waitrose hold their head high by stocking them. If you can't get to a Waitrose you then have to pay through the nose, that is if you can find an independent newsagent that d...

James Alexander Gordon RIP

Really deceives a spot in the GF forum rather than AE, so many memories from childhood for so many. Certainly a part of those great Saturday evenings on BBC1.... James Alexander Gordon, one of the most recognisable voices in British broadcasting, has died aged 78. Gordon read the classified football...
