Re: BFTG - Blackpool

Did he introduce himself as Steve Smith, Company Director? What company? His point was that in his company where he is the director (he presumably makes presentations, maybe a motivational speaker - who knows), that if people paid to hear him talk, they would be disappointed and it would be unfair ...

Re: BFTG - Blackpool

Old Man Andrews
URZZZZZZZZ
Westwood52 Company director on the radio moaning that we didn’t pick the first team.

An absolutely cringeworthy phone call.

He's right though.

It was the biggest amount of tripe I’ve ever heard from any so called fan on a phone-in anywhere.

Re: BFTG - Blackpool

Thought the youngsters largely did ok but none are ready for starting championship football week in and week out based on that. Regular cameos from the bench for Olise and Loader should certainly be considered though. Thought the more experienced players should have done better than they did and th...

Re: BFTG - Blackpool

Company director on the radio moaning that we didn’t pick the first team. This idiot drove me to phone up Radio Berkshire for the first time. He kept complaining about the insult of fans paying their money and then not been given the first team to watch. I was shouting at the radio - that’s why the...

NewCorkSeth
Snowflake Royal Speaking of thundercunts, Aluko came on for Boye.

And has been utterly anonymous. Not that we have had much control of the ball.

Was initially, but had a very good last 10 minutes with some promising moments of class.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackpool (h) sponsored by cup fever

It’s funny how things have worked out for Charlie Adam. When the draw was made back in December he was a pundit for it on 5Live and very excited to have the tie he wanted (almost - would have preferred at Blackpool). At the time as a bit part player, he would have thought that would have been his ch...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Queens Park Rangers (h) sponsored by a Merry Christmas to one and all

Eze running into our box from the left in 58th minute had that inevitability about it, but our luck held. His two free kicks were also decidedly average, but he was more important for them than Ejaria was for us. Good atmosphere from Club 1871. Shame all those busses were there, totally empty. What...

Delboy What will the attendance be ? I reckon 10000 including 800 QPR. We have 8 season tickets in 1871 i am the only one going because of the stupid time.

You will have been counted as attending

URZZZZ What a waste of a shirt Gunter has been, offering absolutely nothing. On the other side Blackett is getting into good positions but can’t cross the ball. Really need more from them two

Midfield also getting run over. Baldock been the best player by a mile

Nonsense, Gunter was very good today

Re: MATCHWATCH : Derby County (h) sponsored by Yakubu

Can someone update my understanding of the rules? I thought last man foul was no longer an automatic red unless the referee deems it a cynical foul? Surely no defender would intentionally deny a chance if it's Meite? I said this at the time and nobody around me could explain. Also nobody could expl...

Re: BFTG Birmingham

Just watched the highlights. I didn’t realise at the time, but it was shocking goalkeeping by Rafael for the 2nd. Looked like a cracking free kick, but should have been comfortably saved. Rafael was that side of the goal and dived with his wrong hand. There is no such thing as "diving with you...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Birmingham City (h) sponsored by Martin Hicks

In his brief period Charlie Adam showed us exactly what we were missing - some class and creativity in midfield.

Quite rare that can directly blame tactics for a result, but today the switch to 4-4-2 was disastrous.

NewCorkSeth I'd like to repeat my opinion that Boye is a fraud. Everything he touches turns to shit.

100% agree - he cost us the Leeds game with his laziness and adds nothing going forward

Re: MATCHWATCH : Birmingham City (h) sponsored by Martin Hicks

The crowd are full of shit. You got me with that argument McCleary over hits it at one end and dives, not a foul, crowd unhappy. McCleary wipes out a player on the edge of the box, foul, crowd sulk because it's given. Ref spot on both times. Yep, classic crowd moaning when ref was fine. Almost move...
