Re: Rival Watch

But OMA, you’ve got to look at it from both sides. You’re missing the point. Very few people are saying he is a “bad manager”. People are just worried about his personality and the way he ends up alienating most of his squad When it’s all going well for him, he has everyone on side and achieves goo...

Re: Rival Watch

Well after talking to a few Spurs fans i get the feeling that they would rather have Prince Andrew in charge. (P.S. Real Spurs fans that go to the games.) That's because Spurs supporters are completely delusional, whiny, moany, self entitled and so used to failure that it warps their tiny minds. Th...

Re: Rival Watch

Spare a thought for those poor Tottenham fans, I wouldn't wish that cnut on anyone. Excellent appointment for them. World Class coach. I think he will be an instant success. Since he retired the DD user he's been bereft of company. Bereft.

Re: SpuROFLs

Spurs have always been my second team (family connections as a kid), but that is now officially binned off I detest Mourinho with a passion and he just doesn't fit with the spurs identity for me. So fukk Spurs bascially What is the "Spurs identity"? Complete and utter failure? If so then ...

Re: Rival Watch

Leeds are the sort of team we aspire to be, we all quietly look at them in awe and envy whilst pretending to hate them. What, a team that haven't been in the top flight for the best part of 20 years and regularly bottle it when they get close? Their current team not any historical ones. We are just...

Re: SpuROFLs

genome Spurs have gone from Tim Sherwood to Jose Mourinho in five years.

That's pretty impressive to be fair.

Yeah, complete backwards step.

Re: SpuROFLs

Mourino is a top manager, no denying that. Very brave of Spurs to go down this road rather than the up and coming manager approach. I think he will be a top appointment for them. He will learn lessons from the past. He is appointing quite a fresh backroom team and i expect to see a very different S...

Re: Rival Watch

Conveniently Leeds' goalie Kiko Casilla has until Wednesday 27th November to appeal to the FA charge of "discriminatory language", them extending the deadline which was supposed to be a few days ago  Considering their back up right now is teenage loan player Ilan Meslier, I feel tha...

Re: The Manager Sack Race/Merry-go-Round

Mourinho is a great manager and good for the English game. I think he will be a roaring success. rare agreed This from supposed Reading fans is frankly a disgrace. Re: SpuROFLs

Vertonghen, Alderweireld, Rose and Sanchez are better than anything United had under Mourinho defensively. Maybe the way they were coached played a part in them losing form and they definitely haven't been helped by a lightweight midfield in front of them, Mourinho will fix that. Don't agree. I thi...

Re: If Reading didn’t exist

I know that the OP said Championship but for me, I think it would have to be Lincoln due to me having gone to uni there. Or maybe Wycombe. Wycombe would be my go to team for sure. It is hard not to support a team managed by the fantastic Gareth Ainsworth. Would you follow him if he left Wycombe or ...

Re: SpuROFLs

Not so sure. Mourinho usually operates with a decent holding midfielder and a solid defence. With a defence as error riddled as Tottenham’s with Aurier, Rose and Sanchez giving away goals for fun, I can’t see him succeeding there if he goes. A big problem he had with United was their awful defence....
