Re: The Manager Sack Race/Merry-go-Round

Dean Holden takes over at Bristol City. Championship clubs getting less and less ambitious with their appointments. Sign of the times. Saw this doing the rounds on Twitter a few days ago, safe to say their fans aren’t happy. Yes, very odd decision. If Reading had done that there’d be a meltdown on ...

Re: Jackson Irvine

Hound I don’t think the wages would be that cheap. Suspect he’s after a fair whack

In the current climate he might just be grateful for Championship football tbh, player power on wages is more or less over at the moment.

Re: Jackson Irvine

Wouldn't say no. Have reservations about picking up anyone in that Hull squad though, that game against Wigan near the end of the season kinda tells you all you need to know about those players. Can't argue with a free transfer though, would be a free hit if the wages are right. Shite hair though. ...

Re: The generic transfer thread

Agreed with that to be honest, don't think he is going to be a starter but you wouldn't be worried if he had to start a few games because of injuries or something. They do need to do something about their back line, Lloris seems to have really gone downhill for some reason. If Utd are going to stic...

Re: The generic transfer thread

Looks like Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is off to Spurs. Not a brilliant signing, but not a terrible signing either. Decent squad option/Europa League player. I'd be a bit worried if I supported them though, they more or less need a new starting backline imo including a keeper. Agreed with that to be hone...

Hendo
URZZZZ Sarri sacked at Juventus after losing to Lyon in the last 16

I rate Sarri as a manager but I think he does better at lower expectation clubs

And is replaced by Pierlo.

Who is Pierlo?

Re: The Manager Sack Race/Merry-go-Round

Jason Tindall announced as the new Bournemouth manager. Tells me they aren't expecting anything next season and probably won't have any players left.

Hope the disgusting cnuts fold!

Re: Rival Watch

Shoot me down and I will no doubt will get a load of grief but a player like forestieri or knockaert are the type of players who consistently perform for teams in the top half of the chump. As it stands, we lack those types of character and we’ll be very lucky to make mid table (which I’d be happy ...

Re: End of season ratings

Quite possibly the worst end of season review of players and scores I have ever seen. Well done. Bully. Rafael 6 Few major howlers;but that nagging feeling that he should have saved a few.Poor short and long kicks;a constant problem. Yids 7 When he played.Season ruined by two major injuries.Physica...

Re: Osho - best crosser of the ball at the club. Discuss.

Westwood52 I have only seen Aruna a couple of times, however he is vertically challenged and teams will target his lack of physicality if he plays at RB.Playing in midfield he can however see a pass and is tidy on the ball.

Who is Aruna?

Re: Osho - best crosser of the ball at the club. Discuss.

My understanding is we originally offered him a reduced deal (which was understandable, he’d not done anything to earn in improvement) That was withdrawn and replaced by an improved deal on the basis of his recent cameos. I’m not sure how you can ‘stuff’ someone on wages. You make them an offer, th...

Re: Osho - best crosser of the ball at the club. Discuss.

He'll get a few games in a league one club, who else will sign him? He's taken a huge risk in the current climate and is being poorly advised, probably got the same agent as Loader I'd say he has been advised just fine, we have tried to stuff him on the wages and his agent has got him a better deal...

Re: Osho - best crosser of the ball at the club. Discuss.

Osho leaving is fcuking tragic and shows exactly where we are right now. He proved he is good enough at Championship level and no doubt we low balled him on the contract offer. Ridiculous from the club.
