Re: Look on the bright side

Both times we got to the prem we invested way short of what was required and swiftly found ourselves back in the championship. Based on how poor our summer recruitment was I see no evidence that would have been different in the prem. We can’t even identify the right areas to improve never mind actu...

Re: Boycott

In short, grow up. The long version, Boos don’t help. Negative Chants don’t help. Boo boys have been out since the start of the season, it doesn’t help. Sacking Stam with so few games left won’t help. You’re dreaming. Just shut up and support your club. The 80% of fans stat is rubbish. People are a...

Re: Look on the bright side

CountryRoyal Had we got promoted there is a strong probability that our style of play would have seen us beaten Derby's record as the worst ever PL team.

How do you know who we would have bought last summer? There are so many unknown factors to consider.

My son still loves it regardless so I will be going whatever happens. It is about him now, not me.

Re: The very latest in STAM OUT threads...with poll

not nec if phrased the right way. Just expanding on his point of asking the fans to always support the players, and if they are frustrated then it should be him who they boo etc. It is time to show a little bit of humility, would go a long way. He is better of pandering to the supporters at this po...

Would agree with a lot of that actually. He cannot demand respect if he is not prepared to give it back though. He has been very dismissive and disrespectful to the support ever since he arrived here. Internally he can think how he wishes but there has to be a level of diplomacy and decorum towards...

Re: CONFIMRED - Tommy Elphick

Hound heard he was injured, but what has he done? Any chance of him being back soon?

Really not sure, came out of the blue. Just remember seeing a photo on his Twitter feed. Shame really as this would have been a good opportunity for him to get some first team minutes.

Re: CONFIMRED - Tommy Elphick

Did Adressen go out on loan or is he available? I'd probably play him at home over Blackett just because of the significant section of our home attendees who are relentlessly negative and get on Tyler's back the second the team is announced. Bit hard to play him with his leg in plaster to be honest.

Re: The very latest in STAM OUT threads...with poll

What's idiotic in that statement? Many other manager's say the same. If he came out and said the boo-ing and negativity was really affecting him, what would you say? "I don't pay any notice to the fans". I'd rather he ignored the quivering mass of short sighted, innumerate reactionary imb...

Re: Spaculation Phillip Wollscheid

Stam has said he will have to scour free market options after injury to Tommy Elphick. This could be a bit of a coup really..... Phillip Wollsheid, he is an ex Stoke Player and a solid Centre Back. Just been released by Metz as they cant afford his wages, at 28 he has 3 or 4 more years in him and h...

Re: The very latest in STAM OUT threads...with poll

@TomJCrocker Stam: I don’t pay any notice to the fans. Even last season they were being negative. If they want to be negative towards me that’s fine but they need to support the players. #readingfc oof Coming out with BS like that doesn't help the players though. The negativity towards him and his ...

John Smith
Sutekh Lastly Stam said in the press conference today that the club may look to see if there are any defensive free agents, who are fit enough, available to be able to give cover.

Patrice Evra and Joleon Lescott are available

Evra just signed for West Ham. Lescott it is!!!!
