Re: Weekend Football

I went to watch Wycombe yesterday to get my football fix, felt like I was cheating on Reading but it was a day out. I should have been in Birmingham watching Reading play Villa but thanks to Sky and the Football League I wasn't! I was quite impressed by the standard to be honest, not too far away fr...

Re: BFG QPR

Delighted with the battling, fight and will of the players. We can officially put to bed the myth that Stam was this messiah to the players and that they wouldn't want to play for anyone else. Clement has done something to boost the confidence of Blackett and Aluko in the space of a week, Stam could...

Re: Arriving to games late

Never been late for a game. I have a ritual of always arriving at least an hour before kick off either home or away and I've always been lucky with traffic etc.
I really enjoy watching the warm up' s as stupid as that sounds. Not sure why but I've always found them really interesting.

Re: Whats Clement got to work with ?

IMHO Mannone: Bit disappointing really, no absolute howlers-but no Al Habsi game saver, and took Stam's passing out at the back and putting us under pressure a bit too literally-probably cost four or so goals this season.Probably worth a return, with instructions to hoof it when required. Jakkola: ...

Re: Leaving Games Early...?

Never ever left a game early. Just don't see the point in it really. You spend a lot of money to be there so you may as well stay. Plus anything can happen in football, you never know.

Sutekh
Four Of Clubs NL Scores from Yesterday:

Bracknell Town {TEN} 10-3 Fairford Town

Fairford aren't that bad a team at that level so the size of that score rather takes me by surprise.

Wasn't there an 8-5 win for Thatcham last night? Couple of odd results this past week.

Re: The Non - League thread

Binfield 0 : 1 Bracknell . Good hard fought win against the noisy neighbours who were desperate to derail the promotion charge. Some rather robust challenges and a clueless referee combined to make it a feisty encounter. Another game in hand ticked off and won. It was a good result against a very g...

Re: Reading or England?

I'm actually pretty keen for the national team to do well. Unfortunately one of the biggest turn offs for me is the group of absolute bell ends who follow them round causing trouble - ie all the 10 German bombers rubbish This. Would love to take my son to a World Cup one day to see England but the ...
