You can hear from Steve Coppell and John Madejski in the wake of the FA Cup draw for the sixth round here - Mr Madejski has already featured on the phone-in this season. I can't help but feel our interview with Oliver Holt will do more to restore the balance in our coverage than damage it - up til ...

It seems some people would gather outside the radio station with torches and pitchforks purely because they don't agree with an interviewee and don't like him. I think Tim and co will find a better means of conveying that to Mr Holt. Make sure you have a Royals mini kit on display in your car windo...

soggy biscuit 2. What is your view on those that choose to just follow the crowd so as to fit in?
Supplemental Question: What is your view on those who take an opposing view simply to create controversy and sell newspapers?

Re: John Madejski hits back

Reading Chronicle Views taken from the fans' website, Hob Knob Anyone?

I forgot Reading had another local rag, Surprised to see them quoting from here without going down the Evening Post route and actually asking us permission.

Aha... Maybe that's why your questions are not being asked RL, They're saving them up for when you appear on the show.

Good to hear I won't be disappointed.

BBC Berks / STAR?

No, this isn't the wrong forum... well I don't think it is. I was wondering if STAR had considered speaking to BBC Berks with regards to having a spot on the Royals show to discuss the aims of STAR and the benefits fans can receive from joining. I don't mean this to sound disrespectfull to STAR or T...

noise can we have a lively debate from informed people, that is all I ask.
Or, in this case, Allow someone to show themselves up as an uninformed mass debater.

rabidbee How about balancing Holt by inviting a knowledgeable sports journalist from a quality, daily newspaper (one where the reports aren't submitted written in crayon).
On the thread above, 6. David Wright from the Evening Post

1. Graham Loader, Mr Hobnob himself. 2. Trevor Senior (Royal Lady can arrange this), He seems to remember every game he played in with some level of detail, He gave me a match reprot from my first ever Royals game based on the fact I remembered he scored and we won against a side possibly begining w...

Presumably the seat removal lower in the stands won't take place until the upper section is completed, otherwise there may be evicted fans with nowhere to sit. Correct - so those displaced fans will, presumably, have the first choice of all other vacanct seats - i.e. the extension and any others se...

Oliver Holt Name a stadium after Tom Finney or Stanley Matthews or Bobby Moore. Name it after Alex Ferguson, Paul Gascoigne or Bill Shankly. But not after a guy who made his money from a magazine flogging used cars.
The players quoted have done nothing for Reading FC, John Madejski has.

I would expect that STAR (if they pulled their finger out) could get data from RFC. However, I'm not sure if publishing this information would contravine the Data Protection Act Nothing to stop the club looking at their own data and producing a list of points held per fan with the fans names remove...

I'm of the opinion that a cruicial factor in the tabloid reporting of the the Hunt/Cech incident was the ability to use the "Witch Hunt" pun, I'm sick of puns and implore you to call a Holt to it. Have you ever received a death threat? If not, Does it concern you that some of your post may...

If you don't want to give OT the time of day just call BBC Berks and put a question to Tim blanking OT. May be ask Tim if they have plans to get a guest on who knows about Football.
