Re: Next seasons kit choice?

I thought Paultheroyal said last week the kit is revealed late this week... Why are you all getting worried about this. It’s not unusual for Reading to have no new kit unveiled until the season starts. Ridiculous though that is. Be interesting to know the reason we get these stupidly late release d...

Re: New Kits 17/18

Some clubs are really going 90's with their football strips this year. This is to be applauded.

I was getting fed up with the identikit kits, same templates, different colour for every team. Booooooring.

Dick Habbin's hairdo Jeeeez. It's a friggin' shirt.

I'm wondering if it's something the Anne Summers shop on Broad street might think about stocking to help sales?

Royal Rother The little I saw of him last season I thought he looked like a stronger physical specimen than Curo and Alf.

He certainly needs to shift a few pounds.

Re: Next seasons kit choice?

The old kit is still 36 quid. Thought the club would have sold them all. Some real plonkers behind the scenes I am convinced we're keeping the same kit this season. You don't launch new signings in the old kit and there are 16 days before the start of the season. And as you've mentioned, the old ki...

TheSpread Chelsea should get around £80m for Courtois.

Not with a year left on his contract they shouldn't

Yes, I took into consideration the contract remaining and Courtois being the better keeper.

Re: The generic transfer thread

I do think Chelsea should cash in Courtois. Plenty of good goalkeepers out there. Although Allison is being touted at a ridiculous price. He's decent, but if Roma want 62m for him, Chelsea should get around £80m for Courtois. 120m Euro for Hazard is not enough. Needs to be up nearer the £200m but I'...

Re: Season 2018/2019

I don't nessecarily agree with that. It's a new manager doing his first pre season. It's about getting his tactics across and ensuring the players are fit for the season. Is there any evidence that teams who win their pre season games do better over the course of a season? Let's not forget he's bee...

Re: England’s World Cup Finals 2018

Did England really exceed expectations? No. It's roughly where I guessed we'd be, maybe a round further due to the easier side of the draw.

So a bit of a meh, tournament for us IMO. Some highs, some lows. So all in fair to middling.

Re: The generic transfer thread

Chelsea won't accept anything less than £200m from what I have seen which is crazy money. Problem Chelsea will have is he won't be able to be replaced, it will be a huge loss for them on the pitch. They aren't in the Champions League either so will probably miss out on a top player. As they did wit...
