Re: Tell us where you're standing/sitting at Wembley

108. Sat next to my boss and his son who bought tickets several days after me but randomly got given the seats next to me.

Re: Championship is horrible football

Thinking back to 1987 when a Steve Richardson equaliser earnt us the point that gave Reading its best ever league finish, 13th in the second tier, (ironically it was at Ipswich), are we deserving of this current self hate? Up to 13th today, mid-table, and just where a lot of us would've been deligh...

Re: Big Following For Cardiff

And it's down the M4, not up. Surely it's along the M4, it's neither up nor down..... I thought it was related to railway lines. Up line went to London, down line went away from London. Therefore it would be 'M4 down to Cardiff'. Not sure how it works on railway lines that don't go anywhere near Lo...

Re: Re-poll: Next Manager

I would like to see a manager who has a track record of integrating youth with first team along with some level of promotion success in the championship (which is different to div 1/2) That sounds ideal, but for the life of me I can't think of any examples. Can anyone think of a manager who has rec...

The Cap BTW Hemenbruff Royal, given your views, I'd venture that you're also wanting the bovril laced with urine. Given their past antics.

Sounds a good option to me if it can be arranged.

Re: Wolves (H) Prediction Thread

Went there once, play off semi final, vowed never to return. Of all the teams I have a pointless irrational dislike of, e.g Bury, Rotherham, Sheffield United (customer of mine supported them and he was a twat so enjoy thinking he will be upset whenever they lose) Bristol City (different customer but...

Re: Back from the game - Middlesboro (A)

Though to be fair on the evidence of that photo there are more Reading fans than 'Boro.

I feel bad now, it's only 90 miles for me and still didn't bother going as everyone predicted we would lose.

RFC to win three nil.

A evening in Scunthorpe is bad enough without the added extra misery of losing.

Re: What's the story with ALF & Adkins?

Adkins tried to sign him when he was manager at Scunthorpe but ALF turned him down saying he didn't rate his playing tactics or managerial style. They have been sworn enemies ever since. Thought everyone knew that.

Re: Team for Utd Away

The manager was sacked because we need a change to what has gone before, yet most of the team selections on here a largely exactly the same as previous matches, so what was the point. We need something more radical. I would go: ----------------------Whoever's fit------------------- ----------Mariapp...

Re: We can still stay up!

With my RTG positive head on I think we could still get to 36 points. It might just be enough.

However once the Saturday night alcohol wears off I will realise that in reality we are fecked. Hope Doncaster and Sheffield united get promoted for some local games next season.

Four nil down at half time. Alf comes on and scores five goals in the final ten minutes. The equaliser and winner in the sixth and seventh minute of injury time respectively. Geoff Stelling and Paul Merson both physically explode live on air when the final goal goes in on Sky Sports Soccer some blok...

Re: SIGNED: Nicky Shorey

Good signing. Maybe the plan is a job share with Ian Harte. Both slightly old, slightly slow left backs but both almost warrant a place in the side for their free kick and corner taking skills alone. If they can manage 45 minutes each then we have 90 minutes of potential superb dead ball delivery to...
