Re: Non - League thread 2013/14

Great stuff, agree with all you say. Added "bonus", you can chat with oppo supporters as most of the abhorrent posturing and abusive nonsense hasn't made it down to the lower non leagues. Were Exeter fans up for a chat last night? Yes indeed they were, shoulder to shoulder in the clubhous...

Re: Non - League thread 2013/14

Having moved to Warrington I have started going to their games and what a difference to League football. None of the posing, play-acting drama queens, just good old fashioned football. OK, so their might only be small crowds but at least they are friendly and you can even stand there with a beer wat...

BFG Leeds away

Opportunity for 3 points missed. Some comical defending towards the end almost gave away the match. Hector made some really bad mistakes mixed in with some really good defending, Obita much the same. Norwood looks a real class player and until Akpan went off the midfield worked quite well, his match ...

Re: BFG U21 final

Tish did indeed play but not sure he is ready for the step up. Also impressed with Stacey. Ugwu is big and strong but doesn't seem to have much guile about him, can see Chump defenders making mincemeat of him, Tanner a far better bet. Think people looking to them for this years team are over optimis...

BFG U21 final

Very enjoyable game. Bit harum scarum at times with defence putting themselves under pressure trying to play out out too often. Arron Kuhl head and shoulders above the rest of our players. Nice to see the football being played the way NA obviously wants the first team to do. Should be a cracking sec...

Re: Pre-season friendlies

I went last night, some thoughts - disappointing we didn't score, but the result was pretty irrelevant given that we'd already made our 8 changes when City scored, and they'd made 1. Other than that they didn't really create much, for the first half they tried to catch us on the break and that was ...

Re: Could we do a Wigan?

Just had a go on the BBC predictor and whilst I admit being slightly optimistic on my RFC predictions I still have us being relegated BUT by only one point behind Sunderland.

Southampton 37
Sunderland 36
Royals 35
Wigan 32
QPR 28

Re: The blame game

Never see a mention of Nigel Gibb on any of these threads. Does he have any input or just say " Yes Brian-442 is the new way! " Seem to remember fortunes changing when Pards got rid of Martin Allen. Perhaps a new , premiership experienced coach would have an effect, not necessarily Wally D...

Re: Arsenal: Back from the procession

I got back in time to hear Gary Neville nail exactly why we keep getting tonked and suggesting a way to stop it, by not not playing 442. Anyone else hear it on Sky Sports? Missed the game due to illness (luckily!! ) and watched Sky. Even before the game Gary Neville was amazed at the formation we w...

Perhaps there should be an exchange system_Royals fans become Wire fans ( I thought they were Wolves by the way?) and arrange a huge boozy weekend in Warrington with all its delights

Re: Andy Alleyne

Very sad news . Also remember his goal and the look on his face was something akin to Theo Walcott the other night which rather gave the game away as to his intentions. A good ,solid, wholehearted player. Passed away far too soon RIP
