Re: Tactics, Corners and Crosses

I think it all comes down to Harper and Mateyovski not being able to play together in the centre of the park as it offers us ZERO defensive options in the midfield. This in my mind led to Hunt and Oster going into the centre midfield to try to get the ball back.

Drop Harps!

Re: Who should be captain if Murts is dropped?

It has to be a player that isn't going to get dropped - as Doobs/Ivar are in and out of the team and Harper and Kitsons places really should be under review (Harps cannot play with Mateyovski lack of tracking back and tackling cost us again this week). It must be Hunty!!!

Re: The Over-reaction Thread

I'm really not sure what midfield two we should play now. Marek and Harps is our best on paper, but lacks bite. Marek and Bryn lacks pace. Bryn and Harps lacks quality. No idea what we should go with. Marek and Hunty? Hunty wouldn't be as good playing a disciplined centre mid role as he is out wide...

Re: Coppell Out

I thought Cisse had two fantasic goal saving tackles in the first half, though, he was at fault for the goal. To be honest I thought that brining on Ivar cost us the second goal as both he and Sonko are much to slow to compete against Villa. Our central midfield was again poor, can Mateyboy and Harp...

Re: Twelve Cup Finals to go.

I'd be happy to finish in 17th just so long as we're in the Premiership next season, then we can look to getting what the club needs most - a new owner. Don't get me wrong JM has been fantastic and has dragged us up from the depths of English football, but, as he himself has said financially he just...

Sorry but you can't have Bikey taking corners that would put him far to close to the medical team and other people wearing "hi vis".

Re: Team for Villa

Having seen every game bar Spurs in the cup this season, as well as the likes of dross like Oster play in years gone by, I feel very qualified to give my opinion thank you, especially as the majority of the fans can also see his failings. I'd love to be in your world and imagine that Gunnarsson, Os...

Row Z Royal I'm also in the dark about the alleged difficulties with Mr Halford and I would appreciate anyone ITK to PM me so that I can laugh, joke, whatever, privately - most importantly away from the public forum.

Ta.

Re: Hunt/Halford/Sunderland

Hasn't John Halls just come back from Palace? perhaps he shared a bit of information on Halford. Not quite sure what the Chessington comment is suggesting was it aimed at the two on the side or the one in the middle.

Interchangable headlines! To Lita to Late Leroy Lita's 10 goals in the last five games of the seaon have left Royals fans questioning manager Steve Coppells decision not to play him earlier in the year, as his hattrick in todays 3 - 3 cracker at Pride Park wasn't enough to save them from the drop. Re: What has caused this bad run of results.......

We've not played consistently well since the middle of last season. We only won 3 out of the last 11 Premier League games last year and that poor form has continued this year. I'd say that the position we ended up in the league last year was largely down to the momentum of the fantastic promotion y...

Re: BIKEYS RETURN COULD BE A CATALYST?!

Thought he looked solid last night, certainly he seems very fit, pretty much the only player still looking 100% after extra time (unlike Jaidi).

Would prefer him at the back to Sonks any day of the week.
