Re: Watford (A) match thread sponsored by Taylor and John

Which brings me back to my second point. Why do we never sell out at Watford, our nearest away fixture? Not sure how good your geography is but Brentford is definelty closer which we sell out for. Also worth noting that Watford is a real pig to get to. On the train just under 2 hours due to the ter...

Re: Watford (A) match thread sponsored by Taylor and John

Akpan was pretty good throughout, Stacey was good first half. Karacan was the best player in a Reading shirt when he came on. No one else really emerges with much credit. The overall game was probably closer than the score line suggests. Watford were not really all that, apart from some pretty leth...

Re: Watford (A) match thread sponsored by Taylor and John

Anderson - 6 distribution was pretty poor Keown - 6 needs to bulk out a bit, was getting out muscled too easily Knight - 7 looked pretty solid Cooper - 7 looked pretty solid Travner - 6 was going down far too easily and always looking for a foul Stacey- see Keown Guthrie - 3 complete waste of space,...

Re: BFTG Brighton H

Atmosphere & Support Didn't want a new thread but wanted to make a point of saying, last night is the reason I go to football. It was much like it used to be, actually supporting the players and team. I know that's been really hard in recent times due to abysmal performances and lack of passion...

Re: BFTG - Bradford

They can't play it for the next two midweeks after next Monday because it is an international week. So the only other options will be to play it after that, but I would have thought that we would have the same problems with the CL quarter finals. The Monday date slightly helps us as we are only awa...

Re: BFTG - Bradford

Overall a good day out! Thought our fans were quite good today, don't think there is any need to make a huge thing out of the flare, it was just some immature kids. Was some trouble downstairs during the second half with some 'lads' wanting to fight the police. Individuals Feds - 7 Didn't have a gre...

Royals and Racers Neil Swarbrick now not lee Mason

Ref had a pretty decent game, let the game flow as much as possible. Lino in front of us, on the other hand had no idea what he was doing!

Re: Bradford A: Sponsored by Windass' incoherance

Played the conditions well, but at times needed to look up before playing long. Thought every man played well but Pog and Mackie both put in a decent shift. Bit of trouble in the concourse early in the second half, fighting between Reading and the police looked to be 2/3 arrested. Pearce seemed to t...

Re: Watford (A) - 14/03/2015

In got tickets today.

£26 is what id expect to pay for a Championship game, I do wonder that if we made Home tickets £15, whether we would sell out every week and I very much doubt it.

About 500 sold so far...

Went up and got my tickets this morning, was the only person in the ticket office but loads of staff on the phones looked quite busy!

I wonder how many we've sold already?

Re: Who will we draw away in the FA Cup QF

Don't see what the problem is with the early kick off, still going to take the same amount of time to get there!

If anything I prefer it as it means we will get back into town to celebrate sooner!?

Re: Yakubu - SSN

Not the best signing but equally not the worse.

Proven goalscorer which is what we need, but lacks pace which is also what we need!

Takes a better penalty than HRK!

I'd agree from Y24 the atmosphere has almost completely dropped off but the same thing happened under Rogers and the start of Brian, it'll come back when our form improves

Re: BFTG Middlesborough

Overall you could clearly see Clarke's game plan was not to lose. We set up to be hard to beat against a side clearly better than us and in the whole restricted them to a few chances and some great saves by Feds. Pog & Cox have no understanding of each others game and twice yesterday went to hea...

Re: Harry Maguire

Heard from a reliable source we are getting this guy on loan from Hull till the end of the season. Hasn't been in their squad recently - young, decent defender, thoughts? Anything is better than Hector. I really don't get the anti Hector posters. He is in his first full season playing for us, yes h...
