Re: BFTG - Brentford

Yesterday just about summed up most of our season(Wigan & Leeds at home apart, when we were really bad)-played some nice football at times; a bit shaky at the back, very poor set plays & crucially absolutely zilch goal threat. Feds 6: Couldn't see what happened on the 2nd, some great saves, ...

Re: Funny / Annoying things you heard on Saturday..

Two really:

Asked for a nice chardonnay (I know, I know) in the Torch- the look on the barman's face; I don't think he had ever heard of wine. He went round the back and came back with something awful.

The day trippers sitting next to me -"the ref never gets it wrong " really ?

Re: BFTG - Arsenal

Feel a bit rough this AM-just got up. Met Mr Mad-then straight to the bar in the Torch within quarter of an hour; bar totally rammed-ended up at Premier Inn-until they stopped us going into the Hotel bar(and buying cheap beer). We were poor in the 1st half-then magnificent in the 2nd-we were shot wh...

Re: BFTG - Blackburn

It wasn't all bad & certainly the horrors of Leeds & Wigan seem now well behind us(.But what happened at BPool ?) That said our total inability to score when presented with close to a dozen half chances summed up our season-particularly when I thought Blackburn at the end were going to nick ...

Re: Go to Wembley on routemaster bus excursion

I seem to remember being on a bus numbered 44 and paying £12(?) , for the Swansea Playoff-with free parking at Mad Stad ?

Left at 11.00 am -could have walked there more quickly after leaving M4- but got there well on time.

Re: BFTG - Bradford City

Not normally one to post on opposition forums, but just thought I'd congratulate you lot on last night. Reading were excellent and completed their game plan to a tee. We were perhaps a bit naiive with out tactics and weren't brave enough on the ball- a game too far. All in all no complaints. It was...

Re: BFTG - Bradford City

Bloody traffic got to the Hotel one up through turnstile goal number two. if it had been an 8.00 kick off would have been on time. so not happy by time I sat down despite being two up! my fault for not leaving home more than half an hour earlier. but defo not RFC fault. BBC turned down delaying kick...

Re: Bradford A: Sponsored by Windass' incoherance

Please don't tell me this went out to a global audience-it was an awful game. TBF Dim & Co on Berks thought we showed some guts in coming away with a draw. Much harsher on here. I think SC had a plan & the boys stuck to it-would Adkins have gone down the same route ? Feds: Cool & calm ap...

Re: Dead cat bounce?? Clarke vs Adkins

What about the money we set aside for Murray? Or the money we used to bid on Vibe? Or the wages we used on Chalobah and Yakubu? There was no money & will be no money next season- the Thai's just wanted to switch from cash to an asset. Players opening their contract negotiations now are being of...

Re: BFTG Forrst (H)

TBF it was not all bad & after the Wigan game a massive improvement. However in the Chumpionship you cannot carry passengers & we had two in Cox and Kanu. I though Gmac, Gunter & Williams (apart from his opening howler) were pretty good. The big problem as mentioned, however is the lack ...

Sutekh
Westwood52 My theory: We are one game away from Wembley & no one wanted to get injured.

No, they're saving that performance for the visit to Bradford.

So they can be on National TV.

Re: Worst home support in the league ?

How many Season ticket holders have asked themselves these last two weeks - whether to bother renewing. The home performances this season have been absolute pants. And what happens if we go down ? Tops of 11000 fans-8000 of those the hard core-the rest floaters like me. The plastics , the corporates...

Re: Back From The Game - Wigan

Years from now 14000 of us will be proud to say I was there the night we played Wigan in February 2015. I won't rate the players-suffice to say that none of them would get more than a 4 and one player nothing. Feds: What was he thinking of ? Kelly : Probably our best player-not saying much. Obita : ...

BFTG-or at least after a kip & days work. Did'nt really want to go last night - but thought I ought to. Apart from a brilliant twenty minutes in 1st half pretty bad. Feds : 4 Not quite a howler for the 1st goal;but should have saved it. Kelly: 4 Skanked a few in the 1st half-but reasonably solid...
