Re: The footballer gets arrested thread

Sebastian Orlando Pownall QC is an AMAZING barrister. Stranger things have happened.

Even after he's pleaded guilty? Or do the one's he pleaded guilty for carry a sentence of less than 9 months? Don't really think "my client didn't realise a blowie counted" is going to work.

sandman Good to see Colin back after his second "retirement". Or is it the third?

This is his sixth job (if you include the temporary stint back at QPR) since his last ever job at Sheff United.
Good to see how quickly the Rotherham players took on his style, finished with 9 men on Saturday.

Re: Champions League Thread 2015/2016

From next season if you have a champions league game on the Tuesday then you play your pre premier league game on the Friday! That's one for the away fans for sure!!!! Blimey. Another game added on to the Premier League fixture. I don't think I'm keen on these pre Premier League games at all. You d...

Re: LOLiverpooLOL - Next Season

does seem an odd decision by Liverpool to increase the cost of a disabled season ticket in the centenary stand by £214 (33% rise) when apparently there is a waiting list for DST's so those people can't just move to a different stand to help avoid that big price rise Just a pure business decision, s...

Re: The Manager Sack Race/Merry-go-Round

So could've Chelsea before they undermined Terry by signing Hector in August. I mean if you're going to shaft the captain, leader, legend then the rest of the squad aren't going to be sure of their positions either and might not perform as well as they should. Too many Coco Pops this morning m8? Mo...

Re: The Manager Sack Race/Merry-go-Round

No Fixed Abode In fact it stinks tbh. Far worse than sacking any manager after a short run of poor games. City should be ashamed at their treatment of him.

His contract runs out at the end of the season. No different than Chelsea not offering John Terry a new contract and signing Hector.

Didn't realise the lino was this far out of position, although probably made his view clearer. http://e2.365dm.com/16/01/768x432/manchester-city-everton-ball-out_3406759.png Its marginal though as this angle to me makes it look like it's not all the way over. http://e1.365dm.com/16/01/768x432/raheem...

Two rubbish teams made to look even worse by the gale, a truly bad game of football. Don't remember it being that cold though just wet and windy.

Re: Man CitHEHEHE

Nameless Hugely difficult for the lino, although he should have been on the goal line and had managed to get himself a few yards out of position.

Was the lino on the far side? Bit harsh to have a go at him when he's got the posts, net, defender and keeper hampering his view.

Re: Old Reading Footage on VHS/film/Youtube

Even found a hastily printed leaflet from a Friday night friendly we had against Steau Bucharest back in c. 1996. Anyone remember that? They had some fairly well known players in their side such as Marius Lacatus. They had really nice Adidas training tops and played us off the park. Remember thinki...

Re: The generic transfer thread

Yeah, if they keep buying that type of player they'll eventually have a player who puts in a full 90 mins, follows instructions and shots on target. Just a shame it'll be 6 names on the team sheet.
