Re: Next Reading Manager

My work colleague who's an ardent Brighton fan says that Poyet is currently on holiday in Barbados...I've no reason to doubt him. Of course, there are methods of communication...but don't go rushing to the Mad Stad just yet! A midseason holiday to Barbados? In a couple of months he has a few months...

Re: Next Reading Manager

Why is Poyet any better than having McDermott though?! What experience does he have, exactly?! Plays nice football?!?! Won League 1 with BHA ahead of Saints?!?! Is from South America?!?! We don't have the players to "play nice football" though......so unless he is given a whacking great b...

Re: Next Reading Manager

Wonder why SkyBet have got Luis Enrique from.... now 15/2 with them. Interesting.. Luis Enrique at Reading.. I like the sound of that. I'm not sure Dolan should be made manager - Seems a bit pointless; it's what we did with Brian (hiring someone within the club). I think we need a fresh pair of eye...

Re: This could work!

Any manager that see's us a genuinely good club to manage in the Championship obviously. The kind of manager who thinks his influence might just give a squad a short term boost to win two or three games and make a valiant attempt at staying up. Coppell always used to say that the way you finished a...

Re: Ian Harte

Shorey is fine, and is a better left back (in my opinion) than Harte. Agree with Barry though - We need a new LB come the end of the season - no matter what the outcome is. Harte can't have another season in him at Reading, can he? If we go down, he'd be an okay 3rd choice, behind Shorey and the cur...

Re: Did we know Wigan was a big game

What a load of old shite. I suppose the players went out there with the sole intention of losing the game? Every game in this division is a big game (cliche bingo). LoyalRoyalFan - I think you are missing the point slightly. We didn't go out to lose the game, but the way we played (compared to the ...
