Having followed Reading for more than 50 years I definitely want it all NOW. FA Cup final,League Cup final and playing in Europe are remaining ambitions and for selfish reasons the sooner the better as I might not be around long enough. Brick-by-brick is fine in theory but football isn't a correct s...

I don't really fancy another awayday to Watford or West Ham. Was quite impressed with Charlton and Fulham so I hope they stay up. Wigan had a nice prematch away fans lounge as well as decent pies, so I think the Blades should go. I find it easier to go up North than to South or East London and now ...

I am with H&P and cmonurz on this and have been saying so for weeks-grab the chance while it is there,it may never come around again. As I see it we have a really good chance of getting 6 points (home to Watford and home to Newcastle) and looking at Spurs and Pompey fixtures that could be enough...

All Leroy needs to do is say that Al Kakouri made a racist remark and he'll probably get off altogether.
The fact that Al Kakouri probably doesn't speak much English won't matter-look at the precedent with Emre at Newcastle.

I haven't joined in the "non-triers" aspect as our players clearly did try but had no guile around the box, something which I feel Kitson would have brought to the game. Just like he did against Liverpool or Portsmouth or Tottenham. Face it, Long last night was as effective as either Kitso...

Re: Refwatch...FULHAM (H)

Details later but for the record we have: Lee Mason (Lancs)who did our Villa 2-1 home win and that 6-0 demolition of West Ham. http://www.redimps.premiumtv.co.uk/javaImages/bb/62/0,,10440~2908859,00.jpg Well hello again  Was that a secret sign in the photo to say that I'm going to send Sonko ...

National papers have already found him guilty and handed out a 3 match ban. Good job we're not trying for Europe as we will probably only be able to rotate 3 strikers now. Huh, source? :? Which? The papers or not trying for Europe? The papers-look for yourself. Not trying for Europe-Coppell....

Like West Ham on New Year's Day Charlton were there for the taking There for the taking? 3 wins at home in a row. 5 clean sheets in their last 6 matches. 5 unbeaten (home and away) Is that really the recent form of a team who are "there for the taking"? When you take into account the oppo...

As some of the posters fall into the "Coppell must never be criticised" category as he always knows best............I am loathe to comment however..... BTW Alex Ferguson the most successful British manager over the past 20 years chose to play Fletcher and Richardson on Saturday and they lo...

Just out of interest has there been another League game this season when we haven't used a single sub? After the griping about playing two games in such a short period (necessitating various changes for this game) how come nobody was substituted even the so-called time-wasting one that we and nearly...

The inference in the Talksport discussion was that there was some sort of pact made at half-time. Presumably Poll would have made BOTH managers aware of any such deal. Anyway far from Pardew being clever wasn't he just plain stupid in revealing that this deal was made? Now there will be a load of fu...

I keep reading how we were hammering down the door in the second half but I can't remember their keeper making a single save. I think we had loads of half chances but you quite rightly say that the keeper had no saves to make. Hunt's was the clearest chance and he had time to bring the ball down an...

Does last night finally convince a few sceptics that Kitson should start every game ? Drogba does for Chelsea because the shape of the side is right and the same goes for us with Kitson leading the line. Which of our giant forwards was marking Al Kakouri when his free and unchallenged header hit the...

Don't really care too much who joins Watford other than I would like Wigan to stay up.
A club like ours with no history but a growing fan base as a new generation starts to support their local team.
Also this season they haven't enjoyed the rub of the green and I quite like Paul Jewell.
