Re: Buyout

I guess the question from that is how they knew? Most lenders require a certain level of financial information to be provided on a regular (usually monthly) basis. If I was Vibrac I would have wanted to see a regular cashflow statement, given you know the club is running at a loss and only borrowed...

Re: Buyout

And they do have step in rights if there's been a default on the loan - one default was unpaid tax bills. Those rights then allow them to take control of the assets, make disposals, etc (hence the sale of ALF no doubt) I guess it all depends on whether or not they have step in rights for any defaul...

Re: Buyout

just checked documents at Companies House regarding Vibrac loan. Premier League money is due in August, as per CS's statement. And they do have step in rights if there's been a default on the loan - one default was unpaid tax bills. Those rights then allow them to take control of the assets, make di...

Re: Buyout

Samuelson said the loan is due in August, which is when we get paid the parachute payment so that makes sense. There must be some fear about being able to cover that payment though or else BGT wouldn't be involved. The lender being TSI or Boris doesn't fit with the other thing Samuelson said about ...

Re: Madejski Sold out and failed again

multisync1830 Several here were on the ball including my good self (as the Omani interest was indeed confirmed by CS) and there would be an interesting race to see who posted what first

probably but c.b.a. :D

Re: Buyout

This is my area of expertise and the process is quite simple really 1. Lender (in this case almost definitely Vibrac unless someone has bought the debt from them) gets concerned and sends in specialist accounting firm (here Begbies Traynor) to undertake an assessment of the situation 2. Work out the...

Re: Madejski Sold out and failed again

Lender is most probably Vibrac, which I pointed out many months ago. I also stated Boris was funding the club after Anton had been unable to raise new funds to complete the purchase of the remaining 49%

Re: Confirmed - Le Fondre to Cardiff

If we'd sold him on the last day of January when they'd bid, after scoring two hat-tricks in the window, we'd now all be saying that we should have kept hold of him and that he might have got us promotion. Agreed - damned if you do and damned if you don't. Needed a replacement lined up first, and e...

Re: Will you renew your season ticket for 2014/15?

SPARTA 8000 sold so far - less than this time last year but where they expected them to be.. That's from TO staff.

So that's about £2-2.5m income for the club so far from ST sales (not sure what the proportion of adults / kids / concessions). Probably covers a few weeks of wages

Re: Buyout

Or if administrators come in will they do the job for us almost definitely. When I used to work in insolvency, making the directors redundant was usually one of the first things we used to do (and then ask them for their continued support, free of charge, otherwise it may impact on the report made ...

Re: Confirmed - Le Fondre to Cardiff

Should have taken the 2.5m offered by Cardiff on the last day of the January window Should have picked the right lottery numbers last week. How do you know that I didn't? the point being it is likely the club knew ALF wouldn't be offered a contract he would find to his liking or if he didn't figure...

Love the optimism of selling players for £20m. let's see how we could get there McCArthy £3m McCleary £3m Obita £2m Alf £2m Williams £1.5m Gunter £1.5m Guthrie £1.5m Karacan £1m Pearce £1m Morrison £1m HRK £0.75m Feds £0.5m Kelly £0.5m Total £19.25m plus anything for Akpan, Blackman, Cummings, Ande...

Re: Madejski Sold out and failed again

Erm...when he said nonsense values I think you got the wrong end of the stick when you suggested you were being optimistic. No not at all. When players like Scott Sinclair are being touted around at 3m, we really don't have a lot of value in our squad, especially with a lot of players in the last y...

Schards#2 Renewed, by credit card, just in case

+1 - I'm actually quite looking forward to it, not really knowing what players will be wearing the hoops next season

Re: Madejski Sold out and failed again

agreed - but I was trying to be optimistic, but a number of players are in the final year of their contracts and we could be seen to be in "fire sale" mode, thereby reducing values.

I also deliberately ignored Pog and Drenthe as I don't think anyone will pay us for them

Cash flow should be relatively OK again for a short period of time, given the season ticket renewal money.
