Re: MATCHWATCH : Carlisle United (h)

They've come out the traps 2nd half.

Predict they'll tire them selves out.

Was that a handball? Looks like they probably deserved a penalty.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Carlisle United (h)

Millsy We have definitely found the level we're competitive at - the relegation zone of League One.

I did think a moment before the goal how physical it is. And how we've been lucky being in higher leagues for so long. A lot of fans won't recognise this as football!

Re: MATCHWATCH : Carlisle United (h)

Form of 1 loss in 5 now across all competitions. Lets hope we can turn the league form around now and kick on. We know we have the squad and the facilities. If they can begin to believe in themselves, I'm sure that we all agree that would be pretty handy. You don’t win anything with facilities. Exc...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Arsenal U21s (h)

Really impressed with Craig tonight, and in previous cameos. He’s way ahead of Savage and needs to be in the team or bench at very least. Vickers is a little star.Did more useful and entertaining stuff in 80 mins thanAzeez has managed all season. I’d start him. Kelvin played well. My first look at ...

Re: Selles out

Was it Coppell who said he preferred to go with youth in attack and experience in defence? In theory we should have that mix. No time like the present to get these youngsters out on the pitch and playing proper football. Just need a quality mature captain to rally them when we inevitably stumble. Th...

Re: Eastleigh away - FA Cup round two

I have a gig on the day of this show. Our doors are 1.30pm (it's a matinee). Recon the band will mind me streaming it on the projector whilst they play? We could call it art of something. Make some sort of statement about the state of grass roots venues and how they should be supported like grass ro...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Shrewsbury Town (a)

We had plenty of experience today. The problem is the tactics and formation that Selles is setting the side up as and to be honest I'm not sure these players are good enough. Dean is finished as a professional footballer. Hutchinson isn't far behind. Bindon isn't great, but raw. Dorsett isn't a lef...

Re: BTFG Shrewsbury

Wow, this one hurts, i really don't know where to begin. After 15mins we were so superior and they were so poor i really couldn't see anything other than a 3-4 goal win!! then Azeez just needed to hit the ball first time and its game set and match....i mean, really, what was he thinking, so so poor...

What happened?

Like... I don't understand. We had 3 minutes left to go.

We are the laughing stock of the entire football league.

*EDIT* I'm actually quite numb by that.

WestYorksRoyal
Snowflake Royal
WestYorksRoyal That was true for the last 2 league games he lost.

Don't think anyone expected a result against Pompey.

Probably, but any game should be competitive in this league. It's not like they're Man City. He used up his leeway against Fleetwood.

Agreed! Fleetwood was the last straw.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Portsmouth (h)

It begs the question, how do we get it so wrong? We have the players. The set up. Training facilities. Is it as simple as sh*t manager, terrible owner? Confidence rock bottom. Small things in games going against us (ie savages shot vs Fleetwood), losing mentality. Bad luck. I’ve not seen anything t...
